Re: CLUE Mafia- Day 2 Begins!!!
There are some claims that should come later then others. If I hold off I believe I can catch somebody in a lie. Please, allow me to differ my claim till the end, it will be worth your time.

In the search for clues, a few guests enter Mr. Green's room and begin to - respectfully - rummage through his things. Alas, they find nothing of any investigatory value except for an iPod loaded with a single song. Excited they run downstairs to plug it into the Den's sound system. After a moment of syncing, the dulcet tones of Billy Joel waft through the mansion, "Only the good die young..."

I hope you didn't copy that directly from your PM, that would be inappropriate.

So yesterday you fought against the idea of a massclaim. Today you agree with it, but think that only you are able to catch someone in a lie. Interesting. I will take your claim at face value, and let this pass. I do want you to realize how suspicious that is though.

No no, just a little flavor from yours truly. Can't copy from a PM that doesn't exist anyway.

I investigated the kitchen and found David Bill stuffing himself with donuts, and I also investigated the knife, whose fingerprints I won't release till those names have claimed.

I don't mind your request, provided that you:
a) catch somebody in a lie and explain how holding your claim off aided that catch
b) despite not catching anybody in a lie, show how holding your claim off actually provided a good shot at catching someone in a lie

Also, I think the "thwack' "thump" and "gurgle" was from either Ms. Ho, Miss Peach or Debra Hill hitting Mr. Green with the candlestick. Those are the fingerprints on the candlestick. Now to take yall back a notch, my cellar card said Miss Peach is guilty and I just found her fingerprints on the candlestick.... hmmmm
I can confirm this, I investigated the candlestick as well. I also investigated the Conservatory, but I just got Bill's DNA everywhere.

Re: CLUE Mafia- Day 2 Begins!!!
LOL...i did exactly the same. Candlestick with prints of Ho, Peach and Debra, and Conservatory with DNA of DAvid Bill. I think the ubiquitous character of david is in some way linked to his third party condition.
The frame thing is weird, since lalaland says her name instead of looking for a fake one, which would be the pretty obvious option if she was mafia. Anyway, and for sake of the apparent mafia found yesterday please STOP REVEALING GUILTY CARDS!

He is a confirmed townie. Unless you have a good reason, you can't just defer your roleclaim all willy-nilly. Please claim now. unvote vote got tonkaed

I have cellar card #5, Chef is Innocent, so Victor Sullivan is in the clear.
Wait a second. He was confirmed by lalaland (mafia). That means that confirmation carries no weight whatsoever.
I already got my eyes on you, Tonka, due to that speed hammer yesterday. I don't think I should allow you to defer your claim.
My opinion is that next Tonka's post has to contain both his claim and his case on Victor (all information you have - if we're dealing with a cult recruiter, he's the absolute priority).
Until then, vote Tonka for pressure.
Re: CLUE Mafia- Day 2 Begins!!!
Less weight than usual - agreed. No weight is ridiculous since Victor is the one who had lala's card. Nice try Rodion:)

Unless maybe Victor knew she was scum because they were scum mates, and called it out to distance himself from her and himself look town.

Re: CLUE Mafia- Day 2 Begins!!!
All caught up now, indeed there are now 2+X flaws in a mass claim today, X being scum, but since that information gap will only grow it is in towns best interest to go through with the following:
0. Give me some nice "tips" with any pointers.
1. Do not pursue a lynch until all the following conditions are met, ending the day will put us in a worse situation.
2. Go through with the mass claim as planned from start to finish without any interruption, claiming scum names as they come through, but not lynching them yet
3. After every name is claimed with no wiggle room, everyone confirm their drawn cellar cards in an orderly fashion to confirm as many of the existing names as possible.
Of course there are the flaws to account for, but old fashioned scum hunts can solve that.
Now this is most likely the best for town, but if anyone has any ethical, fairness, or game fun related objections I might have some ideas for compromise.

I would prefer a claim from start to finish, mainly due to the fact that I know a few people have to lie (role related info) and a mass claim only has value if it is actually a mass claim. I fully intend to claim today, and am completely willing to hang anyone fails to complete the mass claim.
Rodion, I expect option A to be the more likely of the two, and and failing A I do have sound logic to explain why I deferred till later.
Doom, the reason I was against it yesterday is the lame factor of mass claiming, and doubly so for D1. It's the principle of the thing, it takes a lot of finesse out of the game.

Yoshi, I just don't think we can consider someone cleared if they were cleared by anti-town players, since telling the truth is not necessarily in their best interest.
I agree with /'s protocol as long as we don't have a deadline. If one is established, we might have to speed things up and nominate 2 people at a time to claim, or else the day can end before we have everything sorted out.

There is some definite weaksauce in a massclaim. However, that's just the way things turn out sometimes.

I would shay screw the order, if you haven't claimed yet, do so. One of the last to claim is the one we will pick to lynch for various reasons.

EXTRA FOS on edoc. Now you just want to lynch people based on how frequently they check the board? Clearly our current target has said "screw you" to the town. We should go to the next person in order and just lynch tonka. Obviously he has already been found guilty and does not want to claim. Gimli, you are next, followed by shm (who?).

I was sent a pm from the mods in clear flavor language from the chief role. If I am allowed to quote it I will.
This pm was of a recruit variety and I chose not to be recruited.

Dude, can't you explain an idea without actually quoting it?
Please, stop stalling and say what we want to hear in the next post (your claim + everything you can share about this cult you mentioned)!
