Not sure if it affects the outcome of the game or not, but I noticed an error in the scoring of the Cairo - Santo Domingo game.
If you look at Cairo's 4th inning, it begins
Krissan strikes out
Krissan strikes out
adam666 singles... runner to 3rd
Where did that runner come from?

Ah, I think I see the error.
There were extra runs counted that should not have been, but it looks like Cairo still wins either way, so congrats to them.

Boxscores are updated...I made them image files this time, so no links to click, you should just be able to see all semifinal boxes now.
Fresh maps sent to Mobile-Harrisburg, so everyone should be on the same schedule.
I have a busy week with my college hoops tourney, but the next batch of maps for this tourney should go out Friday morning.

Hello all, I've been encouraged by Flex to share this new tournament with you.
It is an NFL/American Football style 1v1 tournament with a scoring system similar to Flex's 'by round' scoring in MLS & Little League tournaments. You can submit your team of 3 players or sign up as a Free Agent and be drafted to a team later.
viewtopic.php?f=90&t=140727&start=0There are lots of fun, dynamic settings (something for everyone), but all games will be sequential and automatic. Check it out and sign up now!

Kingston is the first team to advance to the next round...erupting for six runs in the fifth inning to beat Berlin 6-0. Babagonosh and Sirron combined for the shutout, striking out 10. Gonosh also led the hitting effort going 2 for 3 with two triples in the No. 2 spot. Newcomer Killakazooma helped out by hitting 4 for 7 in his three spots and scoring three runs.
Brisbane is one out away from closing out Cairo on the other International semifinal, although a grand slam by benga has given the Cobras some hope in the late stages of this one. If Brisbane advances, the International side would see both of the pool-play champs fall in the semis.
On the US side, Charleston is clinging to a 5-4 lead over Tyler, but the Sidewinders are threatening with one out in the sixth inning and runners on 1st and 2nd. A nailbiter in this one.
In the other US matchup, Harrisburg scored nine early runs and holds an 11-4 lead in the middle of the 5th inning. Mobile was kept alive by a strong effort from dfp2dep out of the bullpen, surrendering just two hits during a shutout relief performance. He struck out four batters before being taken off the mound late in the 4th.
good luck all, as we wrap up.
Boxscores are updated...I'm waiting for a few maps to finish up, and will send the next batch in the next day or two.

Hi all...just a heads up I'm looking to build up my reserve list for my MLS soccer tournament with one immediate opening for the Chicago Fire forwards...
Calling all soccer fans...my MLS soccer league is looking to refresh its reserves stack with one likely immediate open to join the Chicago Fire squad. We're only a couple games into the season, so still a lot of time to make an impact. We're following the MLS season throughout the summer and early-fall...each team is represented by three Conquer Club players, so you'll have a couple teammates when you are called into action.
Here's the link, flex

I just finished the Tyler game you were waiting on in 11 rounds.
So I think I loaded the bases and then HA's win in 16 rounds for a sac fly wins the game?
Thanks
Shane

Well done shaneback...I'll have to make it official later tonight.
But I believe if you want in 11 rounds you guys were going to end up winning, if it went 12 you would have lost. Easily the closest battle of the season. I guess we know who's the clutch hitter for Tyler

shaneback's walk-off two-run triple with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning send Tyler to a 7-5 win and into the US Division finals...two more semis are wrapping up then we'll get the next set of games out. (along with finalized boxscores).
