I agree. why do they even allow games to be set up any other way?

One of the most idiotic things about this game- the forces don't attack at the same time. Attacker attacks first, or in water the person with the least amount of troops attacks. One of the reasons I stopped playing- that and I got teamed up against in almost every game by taking an early lead.

So you're saying that your strategy is poor (because taking a large early lead IS the same as painting a bullseye on your back.

I only played like 6 games... and considering our record you shouldn't be calling me a bad strategist... ;)

Attackers don't attack first or on the turn they wiped someone out they would lose nothing. Which almost never happens.

Something's going on with the site - the last 24 hours or so, it's been PAINFULLY slow and frequently times out when trying to go to a new webpage (such as, for instance, your trying to submit a turn). Basically, keep re-doing the turn and eventually it will go through. I know...pain in the ass. Hope they get it fixed quickly.

Yup... it's still fucked up pretty good atm and will drive you insane
trying to take a turn... as the SERVER TIMES OUT or you wait
for it to register the turn you just submitted...

only to discover you have to do that son-of-a-bitch over again.

edited to say: The site seems to be working again.

I'm wondering... has anyone here who plays this game had new tabs or windows open
on your browser while visiting this site?

It's obvious that Battle Forces supports a lot of advertisers on their pages
and I was looking at their Privacy Policy which states...

disclosing information wrote:We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. advertising wrote:We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our websites. I have had new tabs open advertising Casinos and other stuff, but it only happens when I visit Battle Forces. Most recently Malware Defense and Registry Defense... which are both bogus computer protection programs that offer FREE DOWNLOADS. These downloads are actually scams that compromise your OS to make you believe your computer is infected, then urge you to pay for an upgrade that will clean up your system and protect it in the future. If you see these offers DO NOT allow them to load as they are a major bitch to remove once they get in there.

Malware Defense got into my PC last week and I have no idea where it came from or how it got there,
but I suspect my recent experience with this rogue program is somehow linked to the
Battle Forces site.

That's cool, I'd hate to give up on Forces. I've run a few scans
and hopefully the remaining bs is now purged from my system.
