Just out of curiosity is there a way to stop people from posting in game chat?
If not, that might be a useful addition so there can be steps taken against people who are abusive in game chats.

It's called the FOE button................. But to remove a players ability to chat in game is to restrictive. It can be as much of a strategy as the actual deploy & attacks.......

How can fred be harmful to the community when it is pretty clear that just about everyone likes him....I mean he paid 50 bucks and started all over just to be back on the site...BRING BACK FRED

I'm not saying that he did. I don't even disagree with you that he doesn't appear to have done so. What I'm saying is that it's certainly a possibility and like you, I don't have all of the information that those making the decision do (though some seem to be pretending to).

I think that's definitely over-stating the case. You have to keep in mind that the ones who are most likely to be involved in this thread are those who are upset about the situation (thus, those who liked him). That's not to say that there aren't other reasons for being here (there definitely are), but that will be a large part of it...thus perhaps giving you that mis-impression.

i have a lot of respect for ya woodruff, but do you honestly believe that lack should be able to throw people out of the site because he felt like it?

I posted this earlier in this thread, and think it is the best option to use to go forth with punishments like this in the future

I dont really like or dislike Fred, and I have never even spoken to him properly, but I knew him to be a good player. Can we at least know the reasons for the ban? something more than "he brought it upon himself"?
I understand that the jeff hardy account was locked because max used it to put a rant up. No probs with that decision. But why ban Fred VIII?
