I've had the scene ready since before the game started.

Night will end as soon as this post is edited and the scene added.
The town knew how all of this worked. They had heard of other towns that had fallen to the grip of the mafia. They huddled in their homes, fearing for their lives. They heard an explosion, and everyone finally slept soundly, knowing it wasn't them.
When they woke up, everyone went to the town square. A quick head count determined no one was missing. Could the mafia not do anything to any townies? No, the mod said as he shook his head, I'm not that crazy. And he wasn't blocked. So what substitute would there be for killing...?
Some of you may be thinking... Wait, What?
DAY 2 START!

I'm going to start the day with a Vote: Kratos...
Why should I believe you aren't scum?

vote spiesr
100% sure we are dealing with a cult. A cult who started with 1 person.
I am also now fairly sure our daycop is not scum, but they really need to remain hidden.

maybe not cu;t but mafia recruiter as mentioned before? and also someone else said, not sure who, game is to small for cult, i do see a point in that.

A mafia recruiter without the ability to kill and a cult are the same thing effectively.

What scares me is what abilities the recruited people have.

Why should you believe I'm not scum? Well I'll tell you why. Because when I brought up that maybe there was a mafia recruiter instead of a cult it was less of a maybe and more of a I couldn't give specific details until day 2. Now that it is day 2 though I'm happy to share those details. I can confirm that there was only 1 mafia at the start of day 1. But I couldn't confirm that for everyone else until day 2. There is probably at least one other person with this ability maybe more but they won't be able to share until their specific days as well.

Also, now I won't look crazy when I say I kind of believe that spiesr is actually the recruiter and he had a power that was similar to innocent child except he wasn't actually innocent and it gave him a power role claim instead. If I'm totally off about this it would be nice if the day cop used their power again to show that this isn't the case. Otherwise, I think spiesr is our recruiter and as a result I will also vote spiesr.

I can vouch for this story as I have similar (but not the same and kratos will know why it wont be the same) information. Hence why I am sure there is a recruiter at play. The fact that Kratos is number 1 makes my 100% more of a 110%.
Also I was voting on a different theory. I dont believe Spiesr to be the recruiter, I believe him to be the recruitee. Voting him isnt the best way to win the game, we will win by finding the recruiter, but at this stage its my firmest lynch target. This is because finding out his death scene would likely provide useful information. Regardless I dont think we can trust his information regarding his investigation ability for now

I urge the daycop
not to use it on Spiesr for now.

@kratos: I had the same/similar ability, i knew about the recruiter, but was not able to say anything before the first night. So people: There is a mafia recruiter. Like i hinted many times before. We dont have a dead guy, that means either the doc saved spiesr, (if we have doc, and if we think the mafia would have killed spiesr) or more likely to my opinion, the recruiter chose to recruit someone instead of killing someone. if he recruited there are now 2 mafia
because there is a recruiter maybe there is a like anti-recruiter as well? does somekind of anti-cult role exist?

Well, for cult, they keep their original powers...
I can assume Spiesr would get recruited, but HE won't have any power... And his normal power is night cop... He KNOWS who is town already.... So, I don't know... Not opposed, but not positive i like it. I would like to hear from Spiesr and others before my vote.

so if a cult has 1 leader, the leader can kill or recruit, and then the recruited person can do whatever his role said but not kill at the same time?

The way the mod wrote the scene would seem to suggest that there is no scum nightkill. He could just be fucking with us though.

If you recall I more or less said I am not a straight cop. (You think that having my role name publicly revealed would make that clear.) Should I share my action result? (I didn't catch any scum.) I still need to figure out what exactly we have to deal with right now.

- You said some stuff that I wanted to respond to & it was comparatively easy to do so.
- I am not sure right now what I can say about those voting for me. They are doing so because they believe I was recruited. I don't have any way counter this accusation. Lootifer also already pointed out that since we have evidence that I am not a recruiter that chasing down people that might have been recruited isn't going to solve anything, but that he might end up doing it anyway.

Yeah, recruitee sounds good.

Okay, my role lets me choose between a cop or watcher action. Last Night I used the cop action on Lootifer, and apparently it is a rolecop as the result was Vanilla Townie.

You all will notice on Page 6 that I was very suspicious of Lootifer
Lootifer wrote:"I am Spiesr, a member of the Town Night Investigation Unit."
^^
-> "Member" and "Unit"
-> This could mean theres more than on in this team
-> This coupled with a day investigator (that I cant find a good reason to think they would be scum - theres no good motive for ousting him, the less solid info the better for scum right?) means town have some very powerful PRs
-> Makes me think to balance this scum are also going to be very powerful
-> ???
Lootifer wrote:Ok since nobody else has spoken up much and Spiesr has been cleared (conditional on daycop being sane...). There is really nothing to go on; except that the setup is "weird but balanced" and that at least one person has supplementary information.
Assuming supplmentary information is not limited to spiesr does anyone else want to pop their head above the proverbial parapet regarding having additional information on the game? (bearing in mind the earlier mod warning).
Lootifer wrote:Anarkistsdream wrote:I agree... The more townies that pop their little heads up, saying "I have info that will only make me a target for mafia," the quicker this game goes to scum...
We already have to worry about taking care of Spiesr now, so, whoever we have with protective roles, keep your eyes on the Spies-r (Like my pun?)
Now, what makes this investigative role- that outed Spiesr- different from most anything I have seen is that the info goes to EVERYONE in the game... Most of the time, you get your answer and keep moving. However, making it a worldwide message is really bad. If this is a townie doing this, you had better be VERY careful, because otherwise you are just screwing us and letting mafia know who the power roles are. If it is scum, you must ALSO be careful because, whoever you out as town will have the rest of the town to take care of them- Docs, roleblockers, etc.
All that said, I will FOS Lootifer for now for the odd request to have people admit to having power role-type knowledge
We, the town, are the ignorant majority; compared to scum, the informed minority.
What if, in this case, the information was regarding how the game is structured? Or knowledge about scum roles? Or something similar? Information disclosure can most certainly be pro-town in some circumstances, especially when its information scum have, and town do not. Sure it may paint a target on the persons head who is releasing the information, but I dont see a rule anywhere that says only PR's get to have supplementary information.
In fact, combining the fact that you are both experienced and reasonably smart, its odd that you would only mention the negative side of information disclosure, a little scummy? Not sure.
Lootifer continues to try and make sense of his opinions and to push suspicion off onto others, including me, who was questioning him.
Lootifer wrote:I was not suggesting we mass claim or anything like that. But I have made my case and I'll leave it at that for now.
I would be ok with a no lynch.
Page 8, starts talking about No Lynches... (Of course a Recruiter wouldn't mind that)
Lootifer is more than welcome to jump on any bandwagoning, whether it be Spiesr or myself...
Lootifer wrote:Do we want to ask for an extension and see what colt has to say or are we all happy to end the day with nothing doing?
Im ambivilent tbh.
Again, Lootifer's "ambivilance" makes me even more suspicious... It makes me feel like he knows he has nothing to worry about, and he is fine with dragging the day on (giving him more information) or ending it with a no lynch... He already knows who he is going to recruit, because he knows spiesr is a safe role.
Lootifer wrote:vote spiesr

That may seem out of place, but it certainly distances him, and he will unvote sometime throughout the day... Or not.. He's the recruiter, and he'll just get someone new tonight.
