Greetings fellow competitors, and thank you for taking the time to look over this message. I'd like to make sure everyone is prepared for the fierce battles ahead!

In divisional play, you will battle each of your 4 opponents once, meaning you'll be granted 4 games.

Since there are 5 players in a division and only 4 players can be playing 1v1 games at once in a round, each player will have one "bye" round, meaning they do not play that round!

Round 2 created for Iceland, Istanbul, Montreal divisions.

Note that a reserve was called upon only because the division is in Round 1. In all other rounds, the game would have been forfeited and cdbridges' opponents each would have received a win.

I still remember that division; tightest one in World Cup history ( ); all 4 players tied at 3 wins a piece, and an epic 4-player Standard game to find the player advancing (which, you won )

And now we'll have our annual look of just to what extent the competition spans the globe. Indeed, this year we do have at least one competitor in every continent! Well, besides Antarctica. Any penguins around?

Interestingly, we also have exactly the same percentage of Americans in this year's Cup as in last year's, at 47%. Very similar to the actual percentage of Americans on the site (49%).
