The small size means it's basically useless for more than 4 players, and 4 is terrible with the neutral armies taking up 1/9 of the map, but it would be perfect for 2 players if that was added in to CC and it's probably worth playing with 3, though- 18 territories means 6 territories each.

Im not entirely sure why you are pursuing the map. Both Andy and KEYOGI expressed dislike for the map.

What is the point in finishing the map if it isnt going to be put on the site? Isnt it just wasting your time? You could be putting your efforts into a map that will actually go somewhere.

On the other hand, no offense meant to you at all, but this sort of unconstructive negativity is a bit of a post waster, and I think it would save everyone involved a lot of time and effort if we get the map finished first, and then debate its relative and absolute merits as a map.

It's not un-constructive. I'm saving you time. I'll tell you it's merits right now.

Because I think this map is useful and playable to a degree that justifies its inclusion in Conquer Club, and if I'm going to abandon this, I'm going to need a better reason than just "it's a pointless idea and it'll never go anywhere."

Who is going to include it on the site if both Andy and keyogi dont like it?

Y'know what, it doesn't have to be included as long as it's justified. It's the thought that counts, eh.

Teya, as far as I am looked over this thread, many people showed interest for this map. It's an original concept, worth playing as it beeing different than any others.

Not because YOU don't like it, that it won't be included. Wait and see what people have to say once it's done.

And..who said he don't have fun making this map, even there he could play it with his friend outside of CC. In the worst case.

I personally can't find anything else to add now. Looks all good.

Yeah I don't get how these 3 naysayers that just showed up get to decide for the rest of us...

Not sure why you singled me out. Other people dislike the map as well. And to me it seems only a select few are actually providing feedback.

Im just pointing out that the MODS are showing a DISLIKE to the map. The map isnt going to get "done"

KEYOGI wrote:I've given this map plenty of opportunity to grab my interest, but I'm afraid I see little value in this map..
I think keyogi managed to sum the map up pretty well just there.

Ok, you and Spokers. And any I have missed. I singled you out because you were the last who spoken.

It's going to get ''done'' even if it doesn't get on the site. And beside that, unless you tell me your a future-peeking-genius, you can not know if it will get in or not. They havent showed interest, YET.

Go ahead and post disencouragements on here, and trust me to do it on every maps you will like/make. You made your point clear, did we care? Nope.

As far as I know, the funny thread by Dim went to page 6 without any disencouragement, why you singled out THIS thread?

i love the idea, but only 18 countries could be a problem. what if there were a 6 player game? everyone starts with 3 countries, which wouldn't allow for much. sorry if this has been said already, but i didn't want to read through all 14 pages of feedback. i think it could work though, i would play it.

The fact is that because enough people really do like this map it does not matter if even 20 more people show up saying they do not.

There is absolutely no reason to deny the rest of us the map because you guys wouldn't play it. There are plenty of maps that a lot of people don't like that get played frequently enough. If you see a real graphic or artistic reason the map shouldn't be played then go for it. I think personal preference is just right out.

Now, if you think you have some feedback that could improve the map that does not defeat the theme then go for it. If you don't like the theme then go away.

If you go 15 pages without any interest, i'm afraid that speaks for itself.

If you don't like it TOO BAD, cause that doesn't mean it won't get done. I like it and am interested in playing this. It's got good graphics, fun names and interesting gameplay.

Juts don't play it if you don't like it. And you guys are not helping at all, Evil DIMwit is not wasting his time.

I agree 100%. I am one of those people who will never play this map, but I have no problem with it being made, knock yourself out. Why would I? That's like harassing your cable company to stop carrying a channel just because you don't watch it.

Boo to the nay-sayers is what I say...

This map is a good laugh - and you never know might turn out to be a tactical wonder piece...

The point of the foundry is to weed out the crap so only quality maps make it though.

I'm all for this map. Flat rate cards on this would work similar to escalting cards on bigger maps. No cards 3 or 4 player games would be nice quick games.

There is a lot of potential for stalemates but that is true of a lot of maps when you get down to a few players holding certain continents.
