No please share it. PM or public if it's a good plan it won't matter.

Well, it's not as good a plan as I thought it was, when I come to think of it...

Well, let either me or you be the 20,000th post, please.

We can try but it isn't always that simple.

Get back at us for what? Having a thread that is so popular that it has reached the same length as this one that you hold so dear?

strike wolf wrote:I do not feel any real need to get back at spamalot. They probably won't even care.
I'm so glad to hear that you're not getting caught up with this ridiculous 'rivals' mentality Strike, I personally don't see what all the big "which is longest" fuss is about. Unless these threads are actually strange metaphors for our wang sizes.

I have to say that Mustard has a very valid point.

The rivalry is ok but Spamalot arent doing anything wrong as long as they are keeping it in the spamalot thread

It's nice to see you again, Dariune. How has life been during your absence? Of course, I'm still here doing all that I can to keep the thread alive with a little help from my friends...

strike wolf wrote:Just take some pain relievers Hoots. I know that all this spam can be painful.

Indeed

AndyDufresne wrote:I remember when ever someone new came into the thread, we always told them it was required to go back and read all the previous pages...hehe

At this point, asking someone to go back and read the whole thread would be unreasonable (reminiscent of cruel and unusual punishment if you ask me). It should, however, be required that newbies go back and read the first 30 or so pages...but that's just me. oh, yeah...and I am the queen of the thread, so I guess my opinion does matter...lol

johnnyrotten wrote:Very well said hooty. Aren't you the only one of the FPC left now?

No...I believe there are a few left standing. Andy in particular...

The reason we have this mentality is because spamalot members are posting in that thread so much solely for the purpose of overtaking our thread...kudos on doing so well at it, but your beloved thread was born out of the spirit of competition. I'm not going to lie...the competition is refreshing...I just wish your thread had more valuable content.

We will appreciate the help...I can relate to the frustration due to surgery...last summer I had knee surgery and it has taken nearly a year for it to be back to normal. I still cannot run without it hurting. Healing takes time, so you will have to be patient. I've been well...I'm home from college for the summer, so I've been working and hanging out with friends a lot. I have a new addiction to poker, so I've been playing as much as possible.

He will be back...they always come back...it is a shame that Andy and I are the only two regularly here...especially since he and I have better things to do than sit in front of the computer for hours posting on this thread...I used to wake up and get straight on and stay all day...now I get out and see people and work and stuff...Oh well, maybe I'll visit more often...it looks like we need it. lol

Unfortunatly patience was never a virtue i was gifted with. And my love of Kung-Fu is what makes it the most frustrating. But as you say, all i need do now is wait and i will be active again. Its funny you mention poker because it was only 8 months ago that i was introduced to it and i loved it. Played it loads since then. The only problem is, the group i tend to play with, we end up getting to drunk to finish the game.
I think it is defonatly a good idea that you come on a bit more, you add a few braincells to a thread badly needing them.

I know what it's called...last summer it was more out of being #1-broke and #2-injured than out of pure laziness or lack of friends...now I am neither.

I think everyone has that problem in poker. Same thing with pool. (though I've noticed the people with 1 or 2 beers in them tend to play better than the ones who don't)

Do you know why that is? In my experience it's because those people focus but not too much...when you try too hard, you mess up...when you're having fun, you do better.

I've heard that before, it doesn't matter drunk or not I'll still run the table on them.

Pool's fun, but Foosball is the shit! I played that while at Tech School, and I dominate on defense. 8) Ping Pong too... I love playing sports like that.
