Top 5 is pretty crowded but not impossible ratings wise you're actually quite close. The right war or two for you would seal the deal.

How about wins over EGAD & HH coupled with the semi-final defeats for S&M and LHDD?

You'll get a FALL vs TOFU war for Christmas, compliments of the CC6 Finals. First ever full rematch for a CCup! (Actually I think first finals rematch in any competition).

I doubt we'll see activity from MD or ID. Nice little +1 for Aeternus. I know most people don't really rate us as a top 10 clan currently, but we've been holding our own up there for quite some time now.

well done TOP, I'd rather have seen you take the first spot after playing the CC6 though. At least you are in division 1 and your results will give more meaning to your leadership on the scoreboard.
But your clan has significantly improved since the comments I did a few years ago.

2016 saw many mergers, or clans going social w a core joining another clan.
In a way, this process was right sizing.

24 active healthy clans is much better than keeping 32 on the books barely alive, non competing.

I rate people based on the system so I do rate you as a top ten clan. That said, when we play I do expect to beat you. But, there are clans that just seem to give other clans fits, or play to the level of their competition. I'll leave that there for now.

Note a small change:

In trying to streamline our CD efforts, and as some people have requested CL / RL entries are removed from their clan warfare tabs earlier instead of the end of the competition etc.
We will begin removing those CL & RL entries to "completed" as soon as I've entered them into the F400 database.

I read that the F400 formula was based on this formula :
Performance rating = [(Total of opponents' ratings + 400 * (Wins - Losses)) / Games].

Therefore, it seems impossible that by winning a war you could lose point, ergo, that by losing a war you could win points.
I wouldn't mind that you explain how it is possible to lose point when you win a war then.

This is simply not the case, if you read this thread I have stated many times that its a performance based ranking. Not strictly a win / loss case.
It is absolutely possible to lose points even with a win (I know its come up several times, and discussed I just don't have the time atm to go back and find all the comments in this many pages etc).

This is pretty difficult to do to opponents who have similar ratings, so it doesn't come into play during normal day to day wars usually.
Its more prevalent in cases where extreme score differences, where the lower clan "out performances" what is expected of them.

To show an example, and showing the extreme case...First place vs last place using 12/12/16 in this example.

KNT @ 701

Those two clans war, and TOP wins 21-20 vs KNT. That is an extremely bad performance for TOP (in theory) and extremely good performance vs the top clan for KNT (in theory). Running the points again using this war, its very clear that points are lost / gained.

KNT @ 761

Not only are points lost / gained, but quite a bit because such an extreme performance from what is expected of them.
Things like leap ladder, and a few other performance measures on the clan tab and the like show case clans win / loss more then F400.
F400 is VERY focused on performance, regardless of the end score (although again, it mostly comes into play when there are large rating differences being factored into play).

This is one of the reasons some clans complained regarding Random League, because of the round robin you face clans that are lower ranked, and with small batches and random maps, increased factor of luck and can result in unfavorable match ups or even upsets vs weaker clans and can impact F400 rankings accordingly. Even with a "win", if TOP vs KNT face off and TOP wins 7-5 in Random League, can result in points loses even with the small batch win. However as I've mentioned in those threads, I believe in most cases random league is neutral and in some cases (such as Fallens) I believe long term it has resulted in a positive points gain and not negative.

A few updates:

1) All 2016 Results and Earlier have been moved to the 2nd post on the first page. It was becoming very cumbersome to edit that every month, as it took a long time to load etc

Yes, if / when they return to 150+ weight they will rejoin. Some of them I was artifically keeping on the list near the end of 2016 even though they didn't meet weight because of longevity of the clan, but all 3 were informed they needed to get weight up or risk falling off in January. Since they didn't meet it at the deadline, they were removed.

I expect they will make their return, a war or two would help add weight. I'm not sure one league is enough / year to keep them on the rankings (refering to MD) but, its possible.

Risk Attackers weight (# of games played) has dropped below the minimum required. With their participation in CL8 and CC7 we should see them back in the rankings in a month or two.
