Has anyone seen the recent Newsweek cover (speaking of genetic disposition)? More importantly, has anyone read the recent Newsweek? There's a picture of a white baby with the headline "RACIST?" in big bold letters. Just curious what that's about (but not curious enough to buy Newsweek).

They should be executed. Problem solved.

It's about them not taking aversion to the train of thought that being white = genetic predisposition for racism.

Or could it be taboo because the results of these types of studies could offend someone other than whites?

Interesting the Newsweak story/study was conducted on 100% whites.

Actually, the Newsweek story reported on one study saying that, of the black students studied, approximately 15% of their friends were white.

But, yes, the story was 99% about white kids.

It wouldn't be taboo if people weren't scared that the media and idiots will tout the data as something it isn't. There are plenty of people who recognize there are differences between races, but the facts, as they stand now, show that they are extremely slight. It's clear that the perceived divides are mostly caused by other factors.

Just a quick note to add about the Newsweek stuff. I really wouldn't trust the studies. The samples are really small and very local, there's no control group in most of them, and the article doesn't really seem to follow the conclusions of the actual studies. I've got no opinion on whether the conclusions are true or not, but the studies in the article just don't show what the article claims they show.
