The Surrender Button blew. We all moaned like babies when it went, then two days later we were shouting down anyone who asked for it back. Everyone complains about deadbeats. The Button was Deadbeat Apocalypse. The Button was like, "I don't like this setup. Goodbye!" "My dice suck. Adios!" "If you attack me again, I'm going to leave LOSER."

thought.
if someone presses the surender button, their cards ar shared evenly to the oponants...AND they loose TWICE as many points as they would at the end. If the games a terminator, the winner will get the points lost by the surendered person.
this should put ppl off suredering.

Not having a surrender button in the first place will put people off surrendering more effectively.

wot if sum1 has to go on holiday. if they cant kill themselve quikly enuff, then they will deadbeat, which slows the game down.
so if thats the case, the person will press the surender button.

Forfit button without abuse
we all no about the forfit button, and i no the idea has been posted before to please dont give me greif for it. but to prevent its abuse, the persons cards are to be distributed to the other teams, and your men become neutral when you use it. so it really doesnt help your team, or hinder players much at all.

That seems like it might be abused just a bit...
The way I see it, the only people that would ever use a forfeit button are people using it to gain some sort of unsavory advantage.
The rest of us fight it out, come what may. If a deadbeating situation comes up (have to go out of town, etc.), then you put it in the game chat and let everyone know.
Forfeiting games is for college football teams that broke NCAA recruiting violations.

A surrender button, that can't be abused
The surrender button was scrapped, because people complained about a very weak person giving up, and then no one would get their cards. I have the perfect solution. Make it so that you can surrender, your men become neutral, but eliminating the neutral armies will give the person who did the eliminating the cards he/she would have gotten for eliminating the person in the first place. If two people surrender, you simply have two colors for nuetral, or even three. Black, Gray, White. Since those are the only neutral colors, I guess you could make it so that only 3 people per game can surrender. How many games would thier be though, where four people wanted to surrender. I doubt there would ever be any. If someone thinks this idea is flawed post a reply.

Why would you ever really want a surrender button?
Yeah, I know there are games that are pretty much lost, but suck it up, cupcake.* Play out the string with pride and know that when the situation is reversed, your opponents will do so as well.
Besides, you'll never be able to develop a surrender or forfeit button without some dirty bastard figuring out how it can be abused.

Well yeah, it was that way with the old surrender button was it not. Surrendering does mean losing, though you don't lose the pts til the game ends and the winner is known
