Okay! So finally got around to updating it [and I thank you all for being so patient with me]. All groups have a game sent out.
I will update scoreboard now, and the boards should be updated now [might need to refresh/wait five minutes].
Enjoy!

Group G:
Group G Board
denominator - $1600
DBandit70 - $4000
grant.gordon - $0
Also we lost one of our categories WWII for $600 should still show available, I tried to edit myself but it would not allow me to fill the field

This gets annoying. So, to sum it up, I've screwed up since I still thought CryWolf was playing in Group F, and I forgot that I replaced him/her, so I've sent the PM to Megadeth.
Ironsky and blakesbowling from Group I have both decided to drop out, which makes me hurridly try to replace one of them with flexmaster33, and I'd sub in one game for the other one.
Group H now needs a replacement, so I'd need about 2-3 replacements for this. Off to make another reserve thread! T.T
This would probably be updated in the weekend, if lucky.

Especially considering you pointed out in the sign-up post that it was going to be a long tournament...

That has a ridiculous under estimate of half an year though
But the point still remains the same, regardless!

Random bit of trivia, because I feel like it.
FUN FACT: This tournament has only 14 people in their original places, though there are some people who've dropped out and come back in [geigerm, amazzony as soon to be]. But, still, it means I went through 13 reserves

(...or more, since I don't count people who've flaked off after being reserves.
At the moment, shoop76 is taking over R0k0v's spot in Group H, as well as amazzony taking my replacement of blakebowling.
The 3 games that need updating should be going out soon.

why not play whole categories at a time, to give the tourney some momentum? you could still have the point values for what you win, and you could even lose points (or half the points) regardless of whether you picked the category or not. i'm not opposed to long tournaments, but this one is headed for completion circa 2029.
just a thought....

Yes...I like the idea of this tourney and am not usually opposed to lengthy tourneys, but this one is just going to go on for years. I came in as a reserve and am still playing my first map more than two weeks later.

So not circa 2029, more like circa 2010

But I would probably do that if everybody picked their group's Daily Double, which only one group has - Group G. Daily Doubles would not work like that.

Sorry ditto...but you'll have to count me out on this tourney...I just can't tie up a spot for this long...it's been more than a year since the original post in this tourney and we aren't even halfway through the first phase.

That's fine - even though if you've read the thread that it's only going to be one round since the length of the tourney is annoying my nerves as well.
