That's because it was so hot the metal didn't melt but it became weak and the
levels above collapsed onto the weak floors. It escalated and ta-da

I love the depth to some CC'ers demolition and structural engineering knowledge, especially when they are just a piss-soaked kid, who has never held down a job before.

That is no way to talk about the only person supporting you here. I am sure xtra's experiments with his kerosene heater are worth several PHDs in civil engineering.

I don't doubt it. Xtra is a regular nobel prize candidate.

That article says enough. Tabasco, you can compare the comments of USA's "No.1 collapse expert" against the comments of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Structural Engineering Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers (SEI/ASCE), the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), and the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY), and also against 80 public-sector experts and 125 private-sector experts.
When that many engineering experts who are all fully qualified and know what they are talking about agree on one event, I for one take their word as the truth.

Well they must be wrong because Xtratabasco is about to call them all 'boot-lickers'.
Remember Kids: If you don't agree with crazy conspiracy theorists who just dodge your points or blindly repeat the same thing that you just logically rebuted, then you must be a boot-licker and have been brainwashed.[/sarcasm]
It must be true, it was written on the internet...

i honestly cant believe you've wasted this much brainpower on this debate, why do you care so much if a few people honestly believe that it was a conspiracy? i mean your trying to argue with xtratabasco? man, you know reason and logic have no place in those kinds of arguments, though i'm interested to know what qualifies his opinion on the structural integrity of steel, and the modulus of those steel bars, under increased load and heat.

The main reason is because I have way too much free time. Still got 3 weeks till uni and got fck all to do. Also because I have had very similar debates with some of my friends who support the conspiracy theory, so I can reply very quickly in here because I know what I need to say, and also what I need to look for to back up my point.
You know the funny thing, Norse has posted twice since my post, but in neither of his posts did he try to reply to my one, and he accuses us of dodging questions...

So naive. Now answer some of the host of questions I posted last night. Or is this only allowed to be a one-way answer session?

Whats wrong with Wikipedia? Too accurate or fact based for you?
You still havent answered the question of how come all of those agencies, companies and individuals who are engineering experts all agree with NIST's findings.
Btw, you want sources without Wikipedia in the title, here:
http://wtc.nist.gov/NISTNCSTAR1CollapseofTowers.pdf
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technol ... 27842.html
Btw, what host of questions? When I was going through the pages I didn find anything that you wrote which was not replied to. Repeat it again if you want, you'll just be proven wrong, again.

This is becoming ridiculous.
Do you believe that wikipedia is going to come out and say
"The twin towers were not hit by planes, the US government blew it up"?
Sucking the governmental eggs again.
I am not going to sit here and argue with a pig-ignorant naive kid, who hasnt got the time to watch the video's that were supplied at the beginning of the thread.

Those are links which are not from Wikipedia! Wtf are you on about?!? Btw, the Wikipedia link that I posted earlier does not just suck up to the governmentt, it actually says why and how and when WTC 7 collapsed which you were saying was because of a controlled demolition. All of the links I posted proves that it was not, and I doubt you have bothered to rad any of those, whilst I have seen 2 videos which have been shown about the conspiracy theories, which were both around an hour long.

Don't bother. I tried having a conversation with him too and when he couldn't come up with a response he just declared the conversation to be over.

Well, All I can say is, good luck with life.
We are entering into a dark age, partly down to low social values and intelligence, partly down to governmental control.
An age is called Dark, not because the light fails to shine, but because people refuse to see it.

Norse, first off the government doesn't control the media. It's the other way around. Every time someone is elected President, they're led into a dark, smokey room with several individuals hidden by the darkness. They are then shown a film of the Kennedy assassination, shot from an angle that seems to come from the grassy knoll, and they ask the candidate "Any questions?" to which the president-elect responds "What's my agenda?"
Secondly, it wasn't the Bilderberg Group, it was the Pentavreten. They run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado known as "The Meadows."
Do you know who's in that group? The Queen, the Vatican, the Getties, the Rothchilds, and Colonel Sanders before he went tits-up.
EDIT: Don't try to out-crazy me pal, I get stranger things than you free with my breakfast cereal.
