Not strike, he's the only one with a functioning brain.

Ok maybe not Strike then as you asked politely Max.
Going back to the question whether I think scum SHOULD have recruited this is something that only occurred to me just over a day ago (real time).
If you DON'T recruit you give yourselves better options for Fake Claiming (as a jailkeeper or detective) when you might need to.
That is what has swung me more firmly into the camp of Not Recruiting would have been the better choice for scum.
That is not the same as whether they did or not - I'm sure the temptation to recruit would have been strong.
Scum who haven't recruited would I reckon catch onto the fake claim possibility sooner or later in this game if they haven't already.
It is something that Town needs to bear in mind as a possibility in this game too.
It also I think says town should place less reliance on sitting back and waiting for things to happen.

All good points but scum would not had weeks to think about it.. so just like the flavour its anybody's guess. For now anyways.
I think the better D1 questions, at this point, would be:
A) If you were the cop who would you investigate tonight and why?
B) If you get killed tonight who do you think the murderer would be and why?
Funny but the idea of posting the answer to A finds me the answer to B.
To me: there was one post that stood out today. A post coming out of nowhere that placed sus on 3 others and by doing so it killed all pressure and town search activity on the matter instantly..No way all 3 are scum so why posting if not for own benefit?. There was no way that those 3 votes would have an actual lynch outcome on D1. Ofcourse pointing at somebody else like that reduces possible sus on yourself.. the more i think about that post the more i think "own benefits, not town benefits".. Anybody having the same feeling?

Sonic, you are implying Traf.
I'm OK with that even though I pause to question implication over direct accusation.
unvote Charle vote Trafalgar
If there were to be sudden momentum on Dev, or Pix (I'll probably honour what I said to Max on Strike) I'd maybe switch.
Any votes D1 may just be token but there have been sudden momentums so ...

I 73 percent agree with this statement if my partner wasn't extreme ways . strike wolf or possibly loose cannon.
IF random . org was used and seriously that's a big IF ... ask yourselves who would your partner have to be to not recruit and also who you would have to recruit to lead you and partner.
Because 73% is 8 out of 11, JFM has put thought into who he thinks would and would not have likely opted to recruit.
I'm quoting JFMs post for 2 reasons.
1. To me it makes jfm lean town - its evidence he's thought about the scenario from the oppositions point of view.
2. This kind of analysis/way of thinking might turn out to be very useful later in the game.
Actually I nominate jfms post as MVP for D1.

Giving me strong wolf/wolf vibes if Max flips scum.

Not sure if the quote was correct but
What if jfm's view is nog the opposition's point of view but just his view, hence he already thought about it?
My biggest gripe with jfm's "tierlist" is that he put himself as 'not a strong player' when most recently in the friends & enemies & enemies & other guy caught 2 scum people just by catching up. I'd think his confidence would be higher after that.
I also disagree with the notion that more prs = more chances of hitting prs. It's also a higher chance of being caught by a pr. Not just that, but wolves aren't the only ones that can fake claim a power role. If town is on the chopping block, they can claim power role in order to escape a lynch and eat a nightkill instead. It's all very wine in front of me.
example:
scum recruited:
I am on the chopping block. I claim jailkeeper. I am not jailkeeper but vanilla town. The two real jailkeepers shouldn't counterclaim, because they dont know whether scum recruited and thus whether my claim is real or not. We lynch someone else. Scum has seen no counterclaim and knows there are two jailkeepers, so likely kill me overnight.
scum didn't recruit.
I am on the chopping block. I claim jailkeeper. I am not jailkeeper but vanilla town. The only jailkeeper shouldn't counterclaim, because they don't know whether scum recruited and thus whether this is a legitimate jailkeeper. We lynch someone else. Scum has seen no counterclaim and knows there is only one jailkeeper, so likely kill me overnight.
The only one who knows whether scum recruited or not is the cop. I think scum recruited a less visible player to dodge investigations and jailkeepers.

I accused Traf before and it spiralled out of control. Im sure everybody here remembers that. And Traf flipped town. So not so fond of direct assault gung ho style here playing pinata. We have nothing solid to go on. How many different people did you vote by now already Loose? To what end?
So the question was: who would you investigate as cop tonight and why. I would investigate Traf yes. For the reasons mentioned.

If I was cop I would investigate Extreme, Strike or Traf. I have a strong feeling that one of them are recruited if not scum from the start.

I like EWs post as food for thought.
Sonic, I've voted pix, Charle and Traf D1 so far.
Your reason for not voting Traf seems wrong. If he flipped town before and you got burnt for it surely you would have more of a benchmark than any other player to assess Traf on this game, if you tried voting for him then guaged his reaction.

I know you voted Pix, Charle and Traf Loose. On D1 that many votes spreaded around is like firing blanks. There is not one serious coming close to actual lynch danger. But if i survive the night i'll vote Traf D2.

Questions to only get re-answered by questions is never a good sign on trust. We will need to work on that D2.
FP by Traf - not the answer i was looking out for. Minimal at best
