We've got a couple 8/9 matchups going right now.

Also of note, we just went over 1,200 recorded games (more than 3,600 maps) for the season and counting. :)
Flex, thank you again for taking on such a load for our enjoyment. Your tourneys are always awesome for us statistics lovers! 1200+ games is incredible but merely a blip on your tracker. =D> =D>

Still a number of regular season games to get through, but the league brackets are shaping up and active as well.

We have the full Northwest League bracket going.

I'll be posting the league brackets here as we get close to the weekend.

Hi all...I'm considering a slight switch for next season.

Expanding the regular season from a 3-map game to a 5-map game.

That would represent the five starters on a team, and I find that I prefer a five-game series.

I use that 5-game showdown for my NFL and MLS leagues and am thinking about bringing it here for 2025-26. Thoughts?

I wouldn't hate it, it makes more sense in basketball. I enjoy the lighter load of 3, but it wouldn't prevent me from joining.

I prefer 3 but would still join if it went up to 5

I think 5 would be great. Should make it a bit less luck based.

League tourney brackets updated...we've got the semifinals nearly set in the Northwest Conference with Oregon State, Idaho and Portland all advancing. And in the SEC, Georgia has moved into the semifinals.

League brackets updated and all leagues are now active. Good luck chasing down an auto bid into March Madness.

The Portland Pilots (bfunny27) are the first team to reach their conference title game.

Would it be three matches with your home map and two random or four home map and one random? Would the random map(s) be the same as your home match map settings?

Still puzzling some of that out IF I make a change for next season.

Thinking it would be two on home court settings, two on random map and one on pre-set Geographical map (based on conference). Random and Geographical map would be escalating, chained, fog.

I'm open to suggestions though.

And at the end of the regular season Syracuse takes over the #1 ranking.

We'll have one more rankings come out after the league tourneys are finished.

And also picking up our Top Scoring team prize for the Regular season is James Madison and Mass Miracle -- this was super close. James Madison edged Georgia by a free throw (a single point) for the season scoring title.

Thinking out loud here too, but would that take away from the home field advantage? You go from 2/3 on your home map and settings to 2/5, with three potentially different settings then one's home settings.

Would the player have some input on their regional map? I was all for the super league changes two seasons ago and so far, I'm not sure if they've made it better. I'm liking your league(s) better and I'd hate to see a change diminish it, but it's your league, you can change it how you see fit and we'll adjust.

flex, actually i think it makes perfect sense to do 5 games. Didn't this used to be how you did it anyway?

Not for college hoops (it's always been 2/3). I did expand the March Madness phases of the tourney to the 8-map format a number of years back.

NFL/MLS, etc are Best of 5 ... I think I prefer that length of series for a matchup, but we'll see :)

The SEC, Midwest, Great Plains and Mid-Atlantic are now into their title games.

A couple blockbusters in that batch with Top-10 showdowns.

As much as my game count enjoys only 3 games, 5 games does make sense.
Just a thought, you could do 2 Home Team Map, 1 Away Team Map, 1 Region Map and 1 Random Map. Not sure how much of a headache that would be for you though. I know you put a lot into your tournaments.
