"Get a life" he says as he posts in a forum for a site dedicated to the playing of a board game, which was made in the 1950's, over the internet. No one here has a life sir. Get used to it.
i have a life!
when my internet dies........

Bizarrely it's now 114 - 57... exactly double yes to no...
I wondered when the swing would happen... and it would seem the majority have spoken...
Lets get this shit locked up and get on with our addiction to Risk please.
This crap is old already.

but when you look at this sutuation, it seems like we have no hope, the thread was maliciously deleted and AK hasn't exactly been very active since, or has he

If he really thought it was spam he should have deleted it at day 1. Was it less spam when it first started than after reaching 1100+ posts?

Him deleting it was a very good thing.
Besides what is spam ?
A bored persons way to entertain themself by annoying others.
Yeah bad decision to remove it.
removed it for the wrong reasons though
thats the point

I have a theory as to why so many more people think deleting spamalot wa a good thing...
I'll phrase it like this: If you wanted to see the results of the poll, but knew nothing about it, which would you vote for?

OR just most people didnt really like spamalot. when you say this is taking a long time, what exactly is taking a long time?

I think that is the case with at least 3/4 of the people who voted yes
Those people play games and pop in the General Forum every once and awhile. They see SPAM in Spamalot and say it is bad right off the bat with out knowing anything.

The process of rectifying what AK did (he deserves something for what he did I am not going say tho) and by reinstating Spamalot in the CC community

Actually yes. It was exactly 1099 posts worth of less spam.
And I voted yes after making sure I knew most if not all of the facts. I've read the entirety pf this thread and most of spuzzle's thread in flame wars in order to see both sides of the argument. Hecter has convinced me that it was for AK's personal reasons but in no way does that strip him of his power to mod where he sees fit.

but according to the poll (whether you think it valid or not) the majority think what he did was right, so why should he be punished? i can understand the reinstatement of spamalot, i never had much to do with it but equally wasnt bothered, but maybe you could wait till the new clan update thingy happens? then all this fuss will disappear........

I think its interesting that Iliad made the poll since he wanted everyone's opinion on the situation (I'm assuming). Now that the overwhelming opinion has been portrayed members of Spamalot are writing it off as not accurate. Obviously there's some bias here as I don't expect that there would be the same reaction if the majority of people had voted no.
Bottom line: Why even make a poll if you're not even going to believe in the validity of the opinion of those who vote?

Personally If I knew in advance that he was going to make a poll I would have stopped him.
I told everyone before I made my letter of complaint that both Hecter and myself did not want polls or petitions until we heard from the mods
Which we have heard from some.
I knew that this poll wouldn't be valid but you cant stop people from making threads.
When seeing this poll people aren't looking at the question "WAS AK RIGHT OR WRONG" they are rather saying "I LIKE SPAMALOT OR I DON't"
^
whatever to that the point is
68 some odd people are upset and something must be done.

No, nothing has to be done. Why would something have to be done? Maybe the 68 people should just leave.
Vote with your mouse people, don't log on here again. And I'll see you later unless I see you first.

OK vince. That cleared something up for me. I didn't know that iliad was acting on his own when he made the poll. The fact still remains though that you can't say everyone who voted yes did so without justification. I, for one, looked at the all, if not most of, the facts in an unbaised manner and voted based on my personal opinion. If I am an example for even half the people who voted yes then you have yourself about a 50/50 on opinions.
edit:ok not exactly 50/50 but the numbers are close enough.

When something you are involved in is taken away from you and your group.
I will still help you, regardless of this moment.
BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT IS RIGHT PEOPLE !!!!
If you vote yes you let one mans ego be glorified (it makes me sick)
