Working on an update for this tournament late tonight...have sent out invites to any open games...

poohcrumbs, I'm guessing you're opponent just forgot he had pitching maps in that last batch...he joined the hitters, just not his pitching set...I can see how that can get confusing at times.

standings and boxscores are updated...look for some fresh maps coming out over the next day or two...as we finish up the Game 3 set and head into Game 4s.

Also, we have our first extra-inning game with Barcelona and Cairo going into the 7th in the only remaining Game 2 matchup

You have quite the fitting name, poohcrumbs, assuming the h is silent.

I understand that the rules are important, but the rule you're complaining about is for free wins. If you're seriously this upset that flex is attempting to keep the entire tournament fairer and that you need free wins just to do better in the tournament, then maybe you shouldn't be playing tournament games at all.

I know that I personally prefer it when I actually win games to get wins, not just being handed them by a loophole in the rules.

thanks for the heads up,...I'll be doing the updates on this tournament Wednesday and will look into it at that point.

All right...I sent out last-attempt invites to all open games from the most recent set.

I am tiring of doublechecking everything to make sure people are in their games, so failure to join the invites with result in a forfeit for that pitch/at-bat...for future sets I'll enforce a 72-hour rule for joining...of course, I'll be lenient with the holidays and such...just send me a pm if you're going to be out of town.

I want to get this pool-play part of the tournament finished...who plays Little League in December anyway

Finally starting the updates on Game 4s and will get out new games for that set within the next 48 hours.

Any player who had games drop in the last set will be dropped from play, and we'll move on with adjusted rosters...if a team loses more than one of its players that team will be forced to forfeit its remaining games.
