Actually, I think she was refering to the silver nature of my avatar. The rank insignia is actually an oak leaf. Not only that, it is the wrong insignia. For you see, the insignia for second and first Lt. are 1 and 2 gold bars respectively. The silver oak leaf is the insignia of a Lt. Colonel, with gold being that of a Major.
