Ahem..... wrong forum rev.
It was a flame with an explanation of why the options were taken away..
Either way have you seen hendy in offtopics topics
DANCING MUSTARD FOR POOP IN '08!
A flame, but completely on topic.
I think freestyle in general can be used to beat up on unsuspecting noobs, whether this two turn thing is accessible or not. Still, real-time strategy adds another dimension to game play that shouldn't be taken away.
An additional "Ansynchronous Locking" mode will rock.

Freeplay Hacked
I looked, but couldn't find this suggestion.
It seems to me the 'freeplay' option is broken. Currently, it's a race to get your armies at the start of a turn -- not a problem. THEN it's a race to wipe out the other guys stuff before the other guy can reinforce. THEN, it's a delay to wait for the other guy to END HIS TURN, so you can drop your left over armies (if you're playing that way) and get a 'double bite' at attacking his armies.
So, my suggestion is to allow people to click to get their armies, but then the first person to place his armies gets to finish his turn. I know, if he wants to be a slug he can delay play an hour that way. But still, that's way better than the free-for-all that happens with the current Freeplay.
I also suspect I lost a LOT of armies trying to drop them on a territory that was being attacked at the time. I didn't KNOW it was being attacked at the time.

Hey! I'm a Slug, but an Atomic one, so I resent that remark!
Don't worry about me playing as fast as I can. I never played a realtime game anyway, but probably will try someday

double turns
currently playing a triples game (72169), freestyle, where a team was allowed to directly go twice in a row. 1 of the players went inactive, the other 2 took their turns, then when his turn was skipped they got to take their turns again, which completely threw off the game. personally i find this extremely flawed... =/

a way to abolish turn "synchronization"
ok, this is real anoying... when someone "syncronizes" their turns... ok, when you end the round you cant play till someone else plays, ya, thats how it is... uhh.. ok, to fix this problem... when the first person starts their turn, reset the clock to 24 hours, or maby reset to 12 hours if the time is less than 12 hours... or, another option, after 12 hours let the other ppl be able to play...

no, what i am saying is instead of giving me 5 minutes to play after they wait 23:55 to play, reset the clock... or after 12 hours the person who ended the last turn gets to play regardless of wether or not the other person has playedgavin_sidhu wrote:so what ur trying to say is you cant have two turns within 12 hours in freestyle? it sounds alright except for realtime games.
you mean that if you make the last move in a freestyle game that you can't make a move until someone else does their move and they wait till it's only a few min left on the round so you miss your turn?
I've never had this done to me...
but I can see how this can be a problem. leaving you with only a few minutes to do your move and also force you to be awake at just that time.

I could say something interesting, but I wont
