All right folks, we're off and running again. Hopefully things will continue to go smoothly from here on out--I have about a 2-week vacation planned in late July/early August, but other than that, I'm not going anywhere.

it was good battle between Rays and Twins, with visiting team taking close win in series, 2-1.

4604455 won by freakns: Price continue to astonish people, winning his 4th consecutive start and giving the edge to Rays.

4604456 won by yemphan: unlike Price, Kazmir is big disappointment at beginning of the season, loosing another start and going into negative record. it was Viola who take a win for Twins

4604460 won by freakns: it was Shields and another one of his good days that decide this series.

good playing by yemphan, it was fun to play against him :)

MuEagles79/White Sox won 4605027

Bonus won 4605023 and 4605025

There may be some demotions/promotions sometime soon for the faltering defending AL Champions.

Btw...if anyone is a real life White Sox fan, you have to check out his comic about the White Sox...going on its 9th year. It chronicles each season...fantastic start to this season with a bunch of inside jokes if you really follow the season.

Manager Plash Ricrem could only shake his head following his team's disastrous showing on the road at KC. Asked what was the largest factor in the Royals 4 game rout, Ricrem noted the intensity of the fans and the inability of his offense to get timely hits. When asked if there was some sort of correlation between the Jays recent struggles and the New Jersey Devils recent struggles down the stretch, if coaching 2 professional franchises was starting to affect his sanity, Ricrem replied that he was probably pretty crazy to take both gigs at the same time but vowed that both teams would be in the hunt come playoff time.

All right, the next set of games is finally out. Real life and a crazy game load--primarily real life--keep getting in the way of more frequent updates, but I will do my darnedest to keep the games coming more regularly and get back to that 2 series at a time thing we voted on before.

Also, I have the spreadsheet up-to-date and will post more from that document soon.

Plash Ricrem gave his team a pep talk before their home series against St. Louis Browns and it pays dividends as they take two of three. Litsch picks up his first win of the year to stop an 0-4 slide (4700597) while Halladay continues his strong start improving to 4-1 with a quick victory over Myers (4700589). Meanwhile in the middle game Purcey drops to 2-3 on the season getting knocked around early (4700584).

Folks,

Sorry once again for the delays in this tourney. Every time I think things are going to get a little easier time-wise, I end up being proven wrong, and of course I've got to prioritize work and family. We'll get going again shortly, and by next week, my schedule really will have cleared up quite a bit, and games will be posted more regularly.

Yeah ... so ... my prediction of things clearing up last week--not so accurate. But with my semester ending, this tourney will get rebooted soon, and my hope is that, given how calm my summers usually are, that there won't be any more problems. Players will be getting a PM shortly with more details.

Just an FYI--I'm working on the new schedule as we speak. I suppose you'll technically get those games on Friday. But they'll be out soon.

Also, we're on our third Florida Marlins manager--Mikalf failed to join his games and has been replaced by leolou2.
