The Cartographer is busy with real life. Such things often happen. He said he still wished to pursue the map when time was available. So for now, it is on Vacation.

1 Month since last post. Hope this map maker hasn't lost his internet connection. I've always really really liked the look of this map and would love to play.

Don't panic. Andy said he was in contact and that the map maker will be back to complete his... masterpiece.
Since maritovw began in July and finished in late September I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and suggest he's a dilligent student.

The map maker expressed interest to finish it, but he has real life priorities first.

hello everyone
first of all, i'd like to ask for your pardon for letting all of you abandoned and waiting for such a long time.
to be honest, i had completely forgotten about this site since i last talked to andy. nonetheless i really doubt i would have had much free time to work on the map...
today i suddenly remembered about it and came to check the site again. i'm currently starting the semester in university and i might have some free time to work on the map.
i'd like it if you could make like a summary of the changes that the map still needs, so i can make them all at once and then you can say if its ok.

yeah, which is why this looks good in my opinion. The small islands hurt my eyes that the other one has alot of.

I don't know if it really matters, but I don't think El Salvador & Nicaragua actually border each other (we had to dip into Honduras for a bit when I travelled from Guate to CR a few years ago). I think Honduras has a bit of pacific coast just on that inlet.
Apart from that total pickiness, and what was said earlier about the Greater Antilles bonus being maybe a little low (comparatively) I think this looks great!

Yeah, El Salvador and Nicaragua don't touch.

you're right... el salvador & nicaragua don't actually touch, but i made them border each other for playability purposes... that makes central america less like a "corridor" where you would have to conquer all of its territories to go from one end to another
i agree with the bonus... maybe 5 would be ok?

so, does anybody has another suggestion besides moving the title??

I have a few things.
1) To be geographically correct, you can't get to Alabama by the border from Louisiana without crossing Mississippi.
2) Is it Mexico D.F. or Veracruz D.F.? It is kind of unclear.
3) I think the title is fine where it is...not many other places to put it.
4) The font of the +2, the yellowish one, is kind of hard to read.
Other than that, it is all set
