Ok, maybe i'll just have to accept the British Isles is gone and this new map will takes its place :(

So lets move ona nd get to work. First thing is that Northern Irealnd is not and will never be part of EIRE! if this map is goingt o be accurate, as i think you wish it to be then you need to make the changes it that area! You could also try and imagine a unique bonus scheme for that highly specal provinve of Great Britiain!

Gimil this is your concience

change the sea routes and mountains

otherwise its a nice map. Loved the flags Idea. You could still do that for scotland/wales/N.I/R.O.I and south England the maybe have a red and white rose for north england (for those that dont know)

just chucking it out there

I suppose i could use alternative images from lands end and north of england, maybe the portcullis on the back of teh british penny and the english rose could work.

edit, the seas routes will, but whats wrong with hte mountains?

Northern Ireland is not part of Ireland and should not ahve a bonus for being part of Ireland. You should try and be as accurate as possible with this map as espically as you are now having the chance to do just that!

yes but the point of this is to change the graphics, teh bonus has been set as it is. Im very much aware that n. ireland is not part of eire and have addressed this issue with a title change and a change of the coninents name.

unpassables - Dont know havent any ideas yet.

NI - Ill see what ican come up with, but it may cause confusion if its identified as different.

Since for the purposes of this map, Ireland is treated as one big continent, singling out northern ireland in some capacity seems like it would be confusing. And again, graphics and gameplay trump real-world political issues and naming conventions. Somehow I doubt anyone's going to look at this map and think that the troubles have somehow been ironed out since one gets a bonus for holding the whole island.

this map is now being revamped and it hsa unique chance to be revamped correctly. Having NI as part of EIRE is like having Canada as part of the USA!!

It should either be done correctly or not at all!

Now im not saying dont include with the bonus of EIRE. Im just asking for it to be shown in some capacity that is part of England!

but its not part of england . . . .

neither is scotland or wales, IT will not be removed from te IRELAND bonus, but i am trying my best to split them visually without making confusion.

Perhaps you could make N Ireland to Cavan and Donegal impassable borders

But it's not a map with exclusively political divisions. That was the issue I had with the flags: continents need to be uniform within themselves and differentiated from each other. Thus having northern ireland stand out somehow from the rest of ireland, even tho it's all one continent, would be just as bad of an idea as having the three england continents share the same flag backdrop.

I agree with this point.
