Would you prefer every player in the game lay out their thoughts on whether a vig should claim straight away? That is the type of discussion that could envelop the entire day without really gaining much of anything.
Say someone claims to be a vig, what would be the next course of action? It appears you would believe that player to be town, but where does that leave scum hunting? Hoping for a counterclaim?

This discussion would lead to nothing? Well if my options are jokes and discussion about the game, i'm going to lean on game discussion. Do i want all people to talk about it? I wouldn't mind. I do i want more than 3? Yes, its a large game.

I dont think i unnerstand the distinkshun between it been part of my roll and it been a post restricshun. It just said in my PM that I had to mispel a few times in evry post.

Mitch, I think it is "N0" as in "N zero" or "night zero", the night before Day 1. So the Mod wanted anyone with a night zero action to send them in ASAP.

The distinction is, if it's a post restriction, that means there's a post restrictor who did that to you. If it's part of your role, then it wasn't another player who did that to you.

I wouldn't say it's a guarantee - antitown may leave the vig alone because a vig misfire can be damaging to town, and there can still be suspicion on the claimed vig. Storr explained the advantages already, but it helps town understand one of the night kills, and the vig doesn't need to stay alive to win, so if the vig does more good for town by claiming than they would by not claiming just to survive, they should claim. (sorry I'm not more clear, fast post right before I head off for work)

having someone that can be trusted early can be nice, helps to rally people.
Secondly, because of this type of game, if someone is forced to admit they kill, we will almost certainly be forced to kill that person.
Early death, possible, but very unlikely first 2 nights. its a 28 person game, there will be a plethora of roles out. Medic wont/shouldn't save the vig (other roles more important to attempt to save) Mafia will not kill him for the same reason. Almost assuredly they would rather try and kill other roles, that will not have any potential protection, they might choose to watch the vig or something like that. which in turn, a town might also watch. Either way It creates a situation in which mafia is very unlikely to risk one of their own to to get caught killing a vig. Simply isn't worth the trade. Could the vigi die day 4 instead of day 5? Sure, Could the vigi just die tonight with out claiming? Yeah.
Sooner the vig claims, the better, the latter a claim, the worse it can be, since this game is likely to have 3p killing roles as well as mafia.

Im not really sure about the vig claiming early.. It seems there are pros and cons for both so I will have to go with the majority on that one for now until I can go back to the arguments

In a game this size, it is so incredibly easy for players to slide way under the radar.
I've seen this instituted in other large games, where each player has someone to keep track of to try and keep activity up. The easiest way seems to be the player below you on the signup list. For example, falko is below me, and he is yet to post after his confirmation post.
