Ugh, please don't. This has been such a problem lately that there's become a rule against it (Rule 15 in the OP). Also, if you are town, then instead of going on about how you'll sacrifice yourself, try and help us find scum. I was leaning town for you, but with that play, I'd be willing to change my vote so you don't need to "end your misery" (Unless you already knew that you couldn't vote for yourself and were just trying to get some pity points?).

@mets - I can see your point. I was thinking that mitch is the way more likely choice. And now that I'm looking back, dakky says he reads dazza neutral apart from the joke vote, and in his very next post says that his scum pair is NoS/dazza. But I don't know if that's town flip-flopping - I feel like if he had an agenda, he would be more careful. We also haven't heard from mitch since Sunday. As for comparable chance, well, I would say it's a comparable chance in that they've both claimed VT.

@NoS - Yeah. Dakky's mets explaination is weird. I'm trying to wrap my head around whether it's a backhanded way of saying it's a neutral claim, or a roundabout way of calling him scummy.

Unvote. Vote Dakky - I thought you were confused town, but too many things just aren't adding up. You might still be, but if you do flip town, I think we can gain more from your lynch than we could from madmitch (his wagon hasn't changed much, while yours has been doing a lot of moving)

there is no need to not look for a new claim, sure the pool of powerroles is smaller, but we have to look somewhere and im still suspicious of epi, and so are others i think so, lets atleast get a claim.

Anyway, I think we should look at who voted for dakky. There was no doubt scum on that wagon and a lot of people limped onto it.

mitch's vote was the scummiest thing that happened on D1. And I wasn't even the quickest one to vote for mitch--other people saw that to be just as scummy as I did. I don't think pressuring me because I found mitch to be scummy is a very good reason.

It's the 4th, so I'm not doing re-reading today, but I think we would best use our time looking at who pushed for dakky's lynch with little, no, or poor explanation.

Maybe mets was just pining for the fjords? Or, wait, no. He was nailed to his perch.

Anyway, here are my reads right now:
Hotshot - With HS, I feel like if mitch is scum, HotShot is his most likely partner. I would prefer a mitch lynch over a HotShot lynch, both because mitch has already claimed, and because I think it would answer some of the questions I have about the two, like HS defending mitch

NoS - I'm getting a town read from NoS. The only case I'm seeing on him is from dakky, and it's not really enough to convince me.
mitch - Right now I'm leaning scum with mitch. I still at least partly feel like I was right with my initial read of him, and his hammer of dakky only reinforces that, but on the other hand, his take one for the team attitude (as NoS pointed out) as well as the way he shifted pressure to dazza rather than trying to push for the dakky lynch makes him seem a little townie. But yeah, he's a really tough one to crack.
virus - Leaning town with virus right now. I think he's tunneling Epi a bit too much, but I agree that Epi's been acting scummy, though for different reasons than virus.
Epitaph - I'm leaning scum with Epi. I did like his defense D1 for his thoughts on a good strategy for us to win. I don't like how he only seems to post when there's pressure on him. Wouldn't mind a claim from him today.
Dazza - Neutral leaning town with Dazza. If mitch is scum, then I'm pretty sure dazza is town.

Right now I'm favouring a mitch lynch over an Epi lynch, but we have time to discuss this. I feel like we get more information out of a mitch lynch than an Epi lynch. The ONLY reason I could see for not putting pressure on Epi is if we do decide mitch is the better lynch, then we don't have anyone claimed for N2, but even then, I'm pretty sure that scum is somewhere between mitch and Epi.

How does COMPLETELY IGNORING the wagon on dakky "get information". What you are saying is that we should completely ignore any inkling that we could get from the dakky lynch and go after someone for reasons that we didnt feel were enough for a D1 lynch.

We have on the wagon:
Mets (confirmed town, dead)
Myself (I know im town)

Which leaves you (mars), mitch and hotshot. Out of you three, one of you must be scum as I doubt that scum could stay off the wagon.
I was waiting for someone on the wagon to slip, and you slipped in my opinion here, wanting to ignore the wagon.

Catching up on work after a long weekend, I'm going to try to go through the wagon within the next day. It looks like NoS has already started on that endeavor.

Mars tripped my radar yesterday when he was jumping around with his vote and putting people into claim territory almost each time. You all know how I feel about mitch's play.

I'm not sure about NoS and HotShot atm, but hopefully I'll have a better feeling after the read through.

I can only do so much.. no reply out of anyone (except epi) for a few days... hoping its because of the weekend...

Sorry - will give a proper reply after work.

Here are my thoughts on the remaining four who were on the lynch:

mitch - you know how I feel. His play was overall the scummiest on D1, but that could just be his play style.

NoS - the towniest of the bunch imo. Gave decent reads and seemed to push the conversation along.

Mars - his posts didn't strike me as super scummy, but his voting is whack. He did put mitch to L-2 (although he disputes this) but that was mitch and deserving of the vote. His vote on me was lame--basically says that I was making other people feel uneasy, so he decides to vote me? wtf. Doesn't seem to spend much time pushing dakky except for a little bit early on, but he comes back at the end of the day and votes dakky. His vote seemed very forced.

HotShot - very little contribution. Strikes me as lying low in a game with minimal activity.

Of the 4 remaining people, 3 of the 4 don't strike me as terribly towny. mitch has already claimed, so I think we'd best spend our time pursuing either Mars or HS, maybe both.
