Yes, because S&M are really in a position to comment.
Prodiving insight into the situation helps way more than comments like these. What Arama said is way better, though I must agree Bruce's comment was a bit uncalled for especially because of the necro. But once again, Bruce has said in the past that this thread was more meant to light up a discussion than to determine the best clans of all time.

Can't win every year and as I said about pack and others... Coming to the dance is one thing, but winning is another. Fallen did a hell of a job to win this years cup. This is why nobody can win every year. 30+ clans are usually trying to knock you out of the top spot. The target is now on The Fallen's back. Icepack will tell you that fallen worked really hard to win, just like in years past, but the stars aligned and they took the cup.
KORT / S&M winning 3 cups is no easy feat. Winning one cup is hard enough.

No its no easy feat. Nothing anyone does will discount what you've already done.
I was just giving it back to you a bit, since you were having a go at us for not winning.
I haven't looked at the brackets much (other than to see we play AFOS first) but I'm sure we will be looking forward to a chance to play Fallen as much as you are looking forward to a shot at us. But the most important thing for us right now will be beating AFOS. Really that is all there is for us now. Everything else will happen as it may.
I'm sure we won't be the only ones who have Fallen circled now.

Ok, I'll bite and take a shot at an updated version based on current events. I probably am putting more stock on "current" clans then "historical" since I don't know just HOW significant some of the historical stuff is, but I've been around awhile (2010) so I feel I can pretty accurately judge "top 10 in the last 5+ years pretty well. My list also emphasizes titles before strong clans in general.
1. KORT/S&M - The most titles, very competitive clan. Trending a bit down, but don't count them out especially with the new TSM Merger. 5 major titles. Holds plenty of clan ranking records and generally the ones competing with TOFU for #1 ranking the last couple of years.
2. TOFU - Very strong lineup, always seems to be attracting top talent. Personally, they were the most challenging I feel I faced as a war planner so far. 2 Major titles, and several runners ups. Consistently at the top and has several clan ranking records as well.
3. THOTA - I joined clans right before they folded, but everything I had seen and heard really made these guys a feared clan with amazing talents. Wish I could have faced them before they disbanded. 1 Major title. I put them lower than TOFU due to the longevity TOFU seems to have had, even though its "modern" history instead of "the good ol' days".
4. LOW - A long, rich history of competition and when they are on their game - tough and extremely fun to play against. 1 Major title + RL victory.
5. IA - Similar to LOW, long history and strong competitors. I almost put them in the honorable mention list since they disbanded, however they were worth keeping in the list since its only recently gone away. 1 Major title.
6. FALL - Debuted in the top 10 even when others doubted them. Very consistently remained in the top 10 since established. Recently won their first major title. Only clan other than KORT/S&M, TOFU, and ACE to be ranked #1 in recent memory.
7. FOED - I feel FOED gets underestimated a lot of times, while going through a low patch recently they've seen another resurgence as of late. One only needs to look at their performance in the Random League (1 win and two runners up) to see their ability to compete well in most any circumstance.
8. ACE - Close to two titles, winners of the first three 1vs1 Clan competitions, and taking into account the history of EMP and AOC combined puts them just above LHDD in my rankings. Definitely a strong clan roster and could pose a threat to any competition that they take seriously.
9. LHDD - A strong clan that nearly made the finals to the CCup this year, and winner of the Random Cup. I expect another strong year for this clan in 2016.
10. OSA - Always a fun clan that will take on anyone, they compete at a high level every time and strong competitors in the Random League each year as well.
Honorable Mentions:
TSM, EMP, AOC - since these merged / went away, I considered their accomplishments along with their new / parent clans. I would probably also mention PACK, who definitely could make the list in years forward if they find their stride as they previously had very high expectations for their success.

9. AOC - The other part to ACE. They started as a crap clan and quickly built up to a top tier clan. Never overlook AOC.
10. OSA - These guys are just that pesky clan that is always so close to winning the big one. They have won the random league 2 times.

Not to nit pick but we have two major titles - one CC and one Clan League.
It seems to me that unless something changes Fallen should win CL this year which would give them two also. Still a lot to go but they are in the driver's seat, with LHDD having a the next best shot. Foed, S&M, and TOFU have an outside shot at it.

I think we are doing well but far from locked up and our toughest part of the schedule is coming up.

Hahaha well since 12/31/15 ive been off work due to a surgery in the new year. I'll be returning in a few weeks, but in the meantime I've been completing a lot of projects around the house, cleaning the garage, doing a lot of paperwork, and in my sparetime doing a lot of clan prep for this year so while I'm working I dont have to do as much
(of course this is all between physical therapy appointments, mostly).
Plus I have an awesome team who is working alongside me, so that always helps!

Some day when The Board Games Sports Network (BGSN) is up and booming the jock like looking statisticians will start a dark horse campaign for TNC simply to talk about something else and fill the air waives. We will be the pioneer for the little guy and Cubs fans everywhere will give up baseball for us. They will spout statistics about us winning the largest war ever...twice. No clan has ever come close to the 296 wins in a 411 game war we achieved. 50 plus war wins. "Sure they have bad losses but that's because they played the game the way it should be, to be enjoyed with their friends". They will point out our peak achievements. Taking down the PACK as they were rising up the ranks. Skunking KORT in a set of the Clan League. Our mix of moments or greatness, effort, variety and sheer entertainment value will make us relateable and help us to get spots on reality TV shows. Just wait 2056 is coming and we'll be there!

given that you guys clearly stole the CC5 from us you can easily call it even.... you can't expect to win everything by 1 game in every competition right?
anyways, surprised no one has ranked TOP in the all time top 5 best clans yet.... cause they've won 2/2 wars and a second division title.

Two points, take TOFU, THOTA, and S&M, pick your favorite order of those three and they are the top three. Put Fallen fourth. TOP is way over rated in this, IMO.
