i think last year's ace-tofu was different, I don't know how long it lasted but something like 8 month or so... with a 4th tie breaker batch. This fall-ace war is totally normal, games are finishing at a normal/fast pace and will last the usual 3 month or so.
I think that last year there were some games that were completely won on one side or the other and some huge offsets happened several times... I can understand that that war could drain the will to play... Winning it was the acheivement, and having to get directly in the mood for a kort final without getting things back together surely did some dammage to tofu.

This war is giving me anxiety.

I have it at 29 ACE, 30 Fallen, 2 unknown - same as yesterday.

Thanks for the kind words Arama86n. My 2 cents are that a war like this is both taxing and fun. As was stated earlier, it seems like we are always in these close matches where it comes down to 1 or 2 games. Even when I feel like we outplay another clan, somehow that happens. It's a bit draining to be checking the same few games every time you're at a PC and rooting on your teammates for the last couple weeks of the war. At the same time, we're all talking constantly and the camaraderie is enhanced. I suppose we will find out what happens soon in this one!

That's what we have.

So everyone is counting Conquer Rome as a FALLEN win, then? I think we agree that FALL leads, but I don't know if it's a sure thing.

Yeah, i think there are a few in that catagory. I mean, theoretically Hive could turn around away from ACE. But i think most of these games are getting counted when they are "likely" wins for whomever.

I have it 28-30 (in favor of Fallen) with the following 3 games still in play (the rest appear to be pretty well decided):
Game 15541186 - slight advantage to ACE
Game 15541385 - leaning towards ACE
Game 15541391 - toss-up

yeah if we count only sure wins this would probably go down to 28-28, I just counted the ones leaning one way or another.

Counting leaners I still have it the same as yesterday. And, yes Betiko those were the games I had is in doubt. But I don't know a damn thing about AYBBTU.

I really don't play it often and it's easy to forget how it works. Bah, some other hussards know it well.

by the way... are kort and tofu going to start soon or are you gus waiting for our semifinal to be determined? I think these guys will have a winner in 3 weeks time maximum.

We already have the dates confirmed with KORT and will start really soon. There is no need to wait for another semi to be confirmed.

IcePack: If that's the way you guys are feeling, that's fantastic for you. I suppose it's very different for a clan on the rise, than a clan who has been on the top for a few seasons and are defending a title or seeking "yet another one". It's not hard to understand that Kort had a bad season in CL, or that we didn't have the steam left come the final of CC last year. It's hard to maintain, year after year without some periods of lesser energy.
I wish you guys all the best seeking the top. I believe it's a special time for any team, chasing that first title. An era that can only be lived once.

hypo: Indeed. Just look at CL6. There we have been for more than a week just watching 3 games to determine the winner of the whole season. The ACE curse, haha.

If that's what it is then I will skip my daily review of the games today.

That is it for my games guys. Great freaking war. It was a pleasure playing against all of you guys and I hope to do it again next year. This was a lot of fun.

Now, it looks very difficult for ACE.

I have it 29 for ACE, 1 undecided but maybe slightly more ACE, and 31 for Fallen. So ACE needs to win the undecided game (which they are probably 55% to do) and somehow steal a game from Fallen, which could happen, I just wouldn't think its likely to happen.

Great war guys. Well fought on both sides from what I saw. Glad to have been a part of it.
