What stands out is North - South movement is very restricted/limited.

Well you have 3 North to south mainland paths and 2 South to North. Add a South to North to balance it.
Maybe a one way North from Shigatse or 2-way Nyingchi.
Also maybe extend the mountain barrier across the North border of Nepal and make that a deadend tert.

How about if I make the Nanning - Guangxi a two way?
Well almost already have that with Kunming.
I also think looking at making a one way from Beijing across the wall worthwhile. The wall was made to stop invasion from the North but not to Keep China from attacking and that would that would help with flow in the top.

I feel like Taiwan shouldn't be able to one way attack Fujian. Instead, Fujian and Taiwan are capable of bombarding each other, which would reflect the tension between the CPC and KMT during the Cold War (First Taiwan Strait Crisis, Second Taiwan Strait Crisis, Third Taiwan Strait Crisis). Even though this is set in the future, it would be interesting to see a resurgence in that military tension between the two political entities in this map.

Okay, this can be done. So just so I have this right, you would like to see them BOMBARD each other and not ATTACK each other correct?

A couple of changes:
1) Reduced Mongolia from +6 to +5
2) Added one way attack from Beijing - Chifeng
3) Changed the attack route from Taiwan - Fujian to a bombardment between the two

Nice changes/additions. I still like another south to north attack route to balance it.
Did you look at/consider extending mountain barrier across Nepal tert North border?
The mountainous north has eight of the world's ten tallest mountains. Mnt Everest...

Yes I considered extending the mountains across Nepal's northern border, but I think it would create too much of a chokepoint which probably would not be a good idea.

I could possibly open up Ngari - Qeimo. Would that suffice? Personally, I like the fact that it is a little harder to get around. You have to think strategy on this one as far as I see there would be no easy way to eliminate an opponent in one fatal swoop without dividing your armies.

Okay after reexamining the game play, I thought I would redo the capital bonus. So you would now get +2 for 3, +5 for 5, +10 for 8 and then +14 for holding all of them.
