The woman stood by the window. Her long sable hair was dappled with sunlight. She was waiting for the return of her captor. He had left her locked in this tower. Locked away from all other humans. No one to talk to. No one to reach out and touch. She was lonely. She was scared. She knew if she could just hang on, someone would have to come to her rescue. Wouldn't they? There had to be someone out there. Someone who would find her.
