It's so nice that your opponent gives you no opportunity to see the maps when they get first turn in all 3 FoW games that you joined first as is custom. Such a courteous player...

If you mean the joining first--that I don't mind--it's the not being given a chance to even peruse the map before I get to donate my points to you that I mind. So yeah I am surprised since it's only polite to do so, but if that advantage is needed for that person, wtfeva. I tend to give my challenger a few hours chance to see the map if it's FoW, because I'm secure and I feel that to do anything else would be petty. But now that I know how some people prefer to play I'll do that just for them.

I agree with you. But I must say to my own defense that I only log in once every 24 hours mostly so I have to make my turns. But I use to wait as long as possible before I log out.

I am in the way of loosing "Extreme Global Warming" against "jricart" making it potentially soon 20-20 at the top.

Oh, Lufsen, I hope you didn't think this was towards you--you're a great guy ;) This was about another player; they know who they are.

 .....so it's okay for some but not others?.....get over it. and for the record, outside this tournament i let people get a look in fog games. but very few if any, in this tournament have done that for me, so i am only returning the favor to all whether they deserve it or not.
ask Silver- if he let's anyone get a look at the maps.....he makes it a point to post that opponents join first....i guess i could constantly post of my disapproval, but life is too short and posting this has wasted more time on the subject than i care to.

After it was done to me, I asked for clarification in the tournament rules. And, since it is part of the rules (who should join the game first), I started doing it also mostly again players that were challenging me each turns for a while...

I also try to challenge map that are sunny to avoid running into this issue when it is possible...
