Oh, your California Governor is now threatening to release 33,000 illegal aliens to Federal custody for DEPORTATION, because he can't afford to house them in California Jails. He also said, he may cut all benefits to illegal aliens too.

I think I might be more "rightly" a citizen by your definition than you, is what I think.

I haven't lived in or voted in California since the early 90's, so Mr S. is hardly "my" governor. Nay, I harken back to the old Liberal himself - Ronald Reagan, who offered every illegal alien I knew of citizenship, free and clear, if they passed the tests, etc.

My, my, my, yes those illegal aliens have helped your economy so much, that California had enough of the illegal aliens.

As opposed to say, a bunch of greedy bankers, folks who decided to take mortgages they could not afford (though a good many were flat-out cheated and lied to by Countrywide, etc.).

My point is not that illegal aliens cause no problems, my point is and always has been that putting up a fence is a completely stupid way to deal with the issue because it WON'T solve anything. The REAL SOLUTION is to penalize employers who create the demand for illegal workers so they can make more dollars in THIER pockets. If employers weren't so willing to hire illegal aliens, they would not be coming here.

What the hell do you know about Ronald Reagan, kiddo? Yep, Ronnie gave amnesty to a couple of million illegal aliens, with the conditions of strengthening the border and immigration controls. Good ole Ronnie, who was already suffering from dementia, slept through his time in office. He and Congress, forgot to tighten up our border with Mexico.

This all lead to 12 million plus more illegal aliens to flood over our border. Now our hospitals, especially in Arizona and California, are going bankrupt, due to these border jumpers. Giving amnesty to these criminals will only invite tens of millions of more of these leaches into our country.

As far as California agriculture is concerned, we need to ween California from those water-intensive crops. Southern California is getting dryer and agriculture in a desert is WRONG. It is sucking too much water from the rivers and reservoirs. So, eliminate these water wasting agricultural practices and we need less labor from Third World countries. Of course, Central America and South America will pick up the slack by growing more crops there, which will help employ more people.

California is nearing bankruptcy and now California is looking closely to it's illegal alien problem.

Cesar Chavez who back in the 1960s organize the farm workers in Clifornia into unions, was against the flooding of illegal aliens. He knew that these large Corporate farms would use these illegal aliens to break the unions and lower their wages.
