Then allow me to correct you. I do not play freemium low ranks. I do not play anything like the king. 3/4 of my games are a wide variety of games, players, and options. I do have 1 map that I have been trying to learn better than any one else. Prob. Chig. has now become almost 1/4 of my games played. I like it because it is fairly complicated and you have to be able to think about numerous things at once. I play no cards to take out as much luck as I can. I start, open to the public games. Then I play whoever steps up. Hoping to get the highest rank players. Dreading the noobs. Learning to be the best at a single map is an honorable way to work you way up. If I were to make it to Conquer by doing so, I would not object to a tag that said "porkenbeans, King of Chigago"
I would even maybe, congratulate the king herp, if they were to put a tag saying "king herp King of the cooks".

there is indeed allot of negativity in here. Stop trolling people. It is a thread for congratulating someone, whether you like or dislike that person, even if you don't like his method of getting there, congratulate him and move on, or don't , but still move on.

Agreed. King Herpes is a top player, has made it to Conqueror (which is more than practically anyone else on this site will get even close to) and deserves his applause.



Whether he is better than every other player on CC is a bit of a moot point, however he IS the Conqueror, he is on top of the scoreboard and it is up to those who think they are better at making points to take the title away from him.

Regardless whether you agree with tactics, strategies, etc.. King_Herpes has worked hard to achieve this rewarding status. I can attest to the time and dedication he has expended on this site for the past year. Pay your respects or bite your tongue... I am proud of you King <33 and I'll always be your # 1 fan =]

Well, he was caught cheating, by tricking players into joining freestyle team games. So, I suppose you could make a good analogy. "Talentless and a cheat" could describe krusher or KingOfHisHand. In the end, I'm sure he'll get tired of not playing games like the others before him and dump his unearned points. Or lack will notice he's not getting as many customers and will ban the farmers.

Well...here are the only actual ways of cheating that I can think of right now.
1) Have someone lose games to you on purpose.
2) Hi-jack someone else's account (or make a multi) and play games with them, making sure your true account wins.

Other than that, there are no other forms of cheating. A very highly-ranked player is allowed to play low-rankers/n00bs. If it wasn't allowed, then the admin would block it from happening. Herp plays a risk game with chosen settings/map against another player(s). That's how we all do it. That is legal. Playing someone on the opposite spectrum of the scoreboard is not cheating.

Moving to the fundamental flaw in your statement above. His map rank is the lowest of any Conquerer, furthermore, his map rank is next to lowest of all the top 25 players listed on the scoreboard. This means one thing only. That he does not play senior ranked players as often as he might. This is not a reflection on whether "he does a great job playing a bunch of people with high ranks" or not, that is a seperate discussion. Lastly, this thread has been something of an interesting study. It matters not how vociferous you are in your defence of him, there have been many detractors from his achievement. This, in itself, shows that for all one can try to prove a point, that point is not really proved until one has shown a certain attitude of mind and spirit.

He'd lose. A lot. Search his games with Majors+. He gave a nice small sample of choice games he won, and I suspect that those 40 games are all of them (out of a couple hundred team games).

This is untrue. The relative rank is a running (arithmetic) average, so it takes very few high scores to balance a lot of low scores. The fact that his is so low (below 0.5) means that he not only plays few high ranks, he loses disproportionately often against them.
