Its great to see the traditional "big 8" having their feathers ruffled by the polynesians, italians and argies...its good for the game.

Yeah, of course...but I mean the actual polynesian countries.

Fiji looked immense against wales, and tonga were hard for england to beat...

Hey got nothing to do with embarrassment, i've actually been working for once at work  i've been impressed by the island teams, they play hard rugby & with new zealand raping them of a lot of their top players they've still managed to put good sides together. Their only problem is their lack of fitness. The only thing i can say about the tonga game is that it wasn't our 1st team squad & 2 of their tries were scored while we had 2 players sent off for dodgy reasons...we also weren't that convincing for the US game in the 1st half, but we got some structure in the 2nd half.

but we need games like those to bring us back to earth for the finals.

The way the pools have worked out, i'm all smiles  SA now have an reason road to the final whereas the aus & nz could easily get beaten over the weekend. England seems to at least be trying to play rugby now & the french can always pull something out of their asses.

I couldn't believe it...the boy's got some pace, that little double side step he did made habanna look like a school kid  but habanna got him back with that "headbutt", pity he was the one who had to be taken off...

Are there actually any americans in the US team?

well hats off to England. they obliterated them in the scrum and the Aussie had a good running game but not quite the cutting edge to win. the kicking was a bit piss poor for both sides, but that was mainly to do with the swirling wind.

i must say well done Skittles for showing your face. i don`t think we will see many other Aussie in this thread from now on.
