LOL, oh well
There's a big difference between drinking beer and being drunk. I know some Christians who say it's never acceptable to drink alcohol under any circumstances, but I have yet to see those Bible verses which back that up. I always know my limit and never drink in front of someone who would be offended.
But wouldn't the biggest sin be to drink Budweiser anyway?

hmmm, dont give the enemy a foot stool, ever hear of that? and the fact that many have problems with this, not sure it is the best modeling?
dont get me wrong, you can do as you wish, was just curious is all, no biggie.
peace

I missed this post. I love a good single malt and Laphroaig is my hands down favorite. I love the intense smoky flavor...i say it's like drinking by the campfire. I was lucky enough to get a bottle of the quarter cask over the holidays. Smoky goodness!
Lagavulin is a close second.

Kahlua rum is a man among men. Let me tell you, this stuff is delicious. I have a delicious recipe for this, too:
1 part Kahlua rum
1 part Cold Milk
On ice.
If your already buzzed you can't tell the difference between that drink and chocolate milk. Seriousuly delicous.

Over here we call that "Kahlua & Cream". Add a shot of vodka and you have a "White Russian".
Kahlua is a coffee liqueur btw...not a rum. Rum is made with sugar cane.

Besides the fact that Jesus's first miracle was turning water into....what was it again? Beer? No, that can't it. I mean, not that beer would have be nice but I think Wine would have been closer to the truth

.
I stay away from Bud, Miller and Coors. Black Butte Porter is ok, but it seems I've lost my taste for it. Alaska Amber is pretty good. For wine, I perfer reds. Hard liqour is good in a mixed beverage, I'm not picky.

First (and possibly last) post in this thread for me.
This may come as a shock to you (living in the day and age and state that I do), but, I don't do alcohol. Never have never will. I just don't see the actual point in it (good for cleaning out wounds and such, but other then that though).

Whats the point in eating/drinking anything? You could live a fine life eating nothing but water and white rice, but wheres the fun in that? It is relaxing and refreshing. The vast variety of wine/beer/liquor flavors is staggering. It's like someone saying "I will never eat meat". It your own choice of course but you are missing out on one of life's joys!
You don't see the point because "you never have and never will".

Agreed, one of the best beers. Although Tuborg (Danish); Bavaria (Dutch) and Beck's (German) aren't that bad.

Are you teasing him, ignotus?

They serve it at a pub called the hobbit in Southampton and its quality. Me and my friends tried to make them the other night. We used the blue lagoon mix from asda and mixed it with vodka, orange juice and lemonade. Came out horrible and way too strong, not like they make it in the pub lol.

In California, and maybe in the whole U.S., they are only supposed to serve you 1 drink at a time, and only 2 every hour. And if you are obviously inebriated, then they are supposed to refuse to serve you at all, and it is the responsibility of the waiter, the bartender, and the restaurant manager/owner to make sure you leave but are not driving. It's actually a law.

That's Cali for ya.....
You could order 5 drinks at once (or more

) if you wanted to here.
So does that mean you couldn't order a pitcher of beer?

Okay, I found out that you can order a pitcher of beer even if you are alone. You can have more than 2 drinks per hour but only one at a time. (Apparently the pitcher doesn't count as more than one.) If they are caught serving you more than one at a time they can loose their liquor license. If you leave a bar drunk, the server and the manager and the owner are all liable if you are in an accident.

Either we don't have that law in Georgia or it gets ignored, because the vodka keeps coming as long as you keep paying... or fall down...
