happy new year. I am in the same boat. players here are way more aggressive than I'm used to and virtual dice hate me.

Hi I'm El Scorcho. Love the game and the site.
I've been playing for a while but don't seem to be improving any more, and have gone through a patch of losing many points very quickly. Any help on improving m game would be great.

Join our next class, man, and we'll run you through the basics.

Join games against higher-ranked opponents, preferably larger games. Watch what the higher-ranked players are doing. Emulate them.

You've been playing a lot of Standard Escalating games. You can use the principles taught here in those games, too. Read through the stickies here in the Training Grounds, especially Your First Four Moves and the Frequently Asked Questions.

PM me for further answers, but you'll learn the foundation in our class.

hello people of conquer club, this thread is where you sign up for the society of cooks. The society of cooks teachers are made up of dedicated players who are both skilled at the game and willing to teach you. we will teach you 6-7 player terminator games on the classic map. The settings for those game will be escalating cards, unlimited fortification, and no fog of war. these game settings are easy to learn. the tactics you learn will be helpful for most games you play on this site. if you wish to sign up for a classroom please post in this thread saying "please add me into this class" or something similar.

on Sunday i will be updating the list to this class so please only post once and do not make more threads as you will not be missed or forgotten.
