Not exactly - they had decided to disband AQoH and approached us (and other clans I believe) to discuss a possible merger. The 10 players who are moving from disbanded AQoH to Retribution is the result of our negociations with the AQoH leadership.

It is with great sadness that we inform the clan community of the passing-away of our dear friend and excellent player [player]Steve The Mighty[/player]. Steve was a member of AQoH and joined Retribution a few months ago when AQoH was dismantled. He made a great contribution during his short stay with us and he will be dearly missed, both as a friend and an excellent team mate. His sitters will take the turns in his remaining games in respect of his great sportmanship.

i didn't really know him, but i remember playing some of my first games with him and crashawc. which was a positive influence on my early cc experience. i owe my feudal war and new world training to those two cats.
