The strongest case should always be pursued. I didn't (and still don't) think the case on icedagger was legit and both MoB and Irish Tiger dropped much stronger scumtells than icedagger did.

I'm not going to belabor the point though. If you wanna vote edoc, go ahead, but I still believe the best cases for today are MoB and Irish Tiger.

Exactly the case on Ice Dagger was weak at best granted it's day one so no case is going to be flawless but the ones against MoB and Tiger are far stronger. Personally I think Irish Tiger is scummier than MoB but let's get an official vote count and see where the two cases stand.

As previously stated, all Day 1 cases are weak. All of them!!

Someone said that the goal isn't to get information, it's to lynch scum. That's true to some extent, but on day 1, information is important. And getting claims from people is vital to us knowing which direction to go. Day 1 claims are important, IMO. I think that with icedagger at L-2, we should have forced a claim. That's what happens on Day 1, you try to go for something minutely scummy and then get information from a (random) bandwagon. However, since we have a few people jumping votes all over for no reason, I don't have a problem changing my vote to someone else who I have already deemed as scummy. That is MoB Deadly.

I also said before that I think that Irish Tiger is just new. I know that it's convenient to hide behind being new, but the fact is, it's true. You can even look at his last post to see that he didn't even bother to 'unvote' before trying to change his vote. I know he is bouncing all over, but (please excuse a little WIFOM that's about to come) it's so blatantly ridiculous that it almost can't be scummy. I mean, what kind of mafia member would stand out so much? I'm not saying that I'm the most experienced mafia player ever, but from what I've seen, Irish Tiger looks like a classic noob townie.

MoB basically just OMGUS voted on Irish's vote of him (that didn't even count, because he didn't unvote).

So many scumtells. I've seen scummy stuff from at least 6 people (icedagger, MoB Deadly, edocsil, Irish Tiger, zimmah, Jace22). That being said, since everyone is abandoning the weak case on icedagger, I'll go switch over to pressure the weak case on MoB. unvote vote MoB Deadly.

Yes, I agree that claims are important Day 1, but too many claims borders on a massclaim and that is ultimately more useful to mafia. Saying that you have a lot of suspects is not really helpful either, you can easily get miss the forest for the trees. If we want to pressure MoB for a claim, I'll sign off on that, but I'd like an official vote count before I see if I need to add pressure.

I will roleclaim and post my defense if that is what is requested of me. I will do it tomorrow or maybe late tonight we will see

I checked page 5 and you're right, I went from Naxus' last ''vote count'' ( or at least his post...was confusing ) and it showed you voting mob. In any and all case, your vote in on Mob now...So where's the harm?

No need to jump on the defensive there..I simply tried to recap votes and thought it was funny you unvoted Mob to revote him on the next line, but I got messed up with naxus last post...Nothing more, nothing less.

I just find it funny that at least 3 persons pointed out mob is acting scummy, but not a single one of you gives any reason behind it. Same for irish, even tho at this point everyone just thinks he's newbish. I'm not trying to defend mob here but if you're openly suspecting someone, at least come with reasons.

I wasn't really into the case on icedagger as it seemed very forced to me. It looks to me like scum trying to get a quick lynch and go to night.

My reasoning. I assume most other people have similar evidence.

bandwagoning on d1 is a neccesary evil. no lynch on day 1 is much worse. even if you happen to lynch a townie.

That is wrong. If you just play Russian Roulette you gain nothing because the vote patterns mean nothing.While you must hang someone to gain any info you can't just hang anyone one, you have to hang someone whose death will give you information. It is an important distinction you are missing.

But using the defence that he's brand new is such wifom. Sure a lot of new players play poorly but there are also new players that play quite well and you have to learn somehow or another that vote hopping onto the next bandwagon that looks good to you isn't acceptable unless you actually have some reason for voting for that person. Now like I said before I'm willing to push either of these cases but right now it looks like the Irish Tiger case has more support and depending on how he flips we can actually get decent information from this case.
