standings are fresh...Kansas City is making a move at the top of the Eastern Conference.
I'll be working on field maps and updating season stats tonight...hopefully to include the release of the all-star teams.

Standings and field maps are updated through July 9-10 with a new stat page link also up through that date.

I'll wait for some more of the July 9-10 set to go final before setting the all-star rosters...it's almost looking like an FC Dallas vs. Kansas City dual at the moment

standings and fields updated...getting the July 20 set out today...some players are falling off the pace and others are on vacation...so be patient with those who may be out of town.

One note: maps that fall out (2 weeks expiration) with an opponent waiting...those games will be considered a forfeit (-3).

I think we'll put together an exhibition all-star game, and for many this will offer a chance to catch up before we head into the final months of the season.

Having some computer issues, and going out of town for a long weekend.

goalie maps have been sent out for the weekend matches...I'll send out the positional maps for those games when I return from vacation on Sunday night. This should give players who are behind on maps a chance to catch back up.

I've decided on no all-star game, although I'll list the rosters for each conference.

I'll work on getting a major update posted before I leave...also the July 29 match between Colorado and Philly will get their positional maps before I leave.

Standings are updated along with field maps through all of July...standings are accurate through all completed matches as of this morning.

I'll post an updated stat link tonight and announce the MLS all-star team.

I also added a GP column to the standings (last column)...this tracks the number of completed matches for each team.
Good luck as we head into the second half of the season...time to make your move for the playoffs!!!

standings updated along with field maps through August 3...working on the current August set tonight.

Watch out for Real Salt Lake, which has gone 11 matches without a loss (including 7 straight wins) to move into second place in the West.

Fields and standings are updated through the current Aug 13-14 set.

Dallas continues to hold a slight lead over Kansas City for the President's Cup (league's top regular-season team)...a general achievement medal will go to that squad at the end of the tourney.

Also note, I've added a chart below the standings to track the wildcard chase over the final two months of the season. The top six teams (best three in each division) are not included in this chart because those spots earn first-round byes.

In the much-anticipated department...this weekend sees a showdown between the league's two top teams when FC Dallas makes a visit to Kansas City. Should be a good one.

all games have been sent out through this weekend's set...I'm taking a camping trip for a few days, but will try to get a standings update posted before I leave.

Also, it appears the MLS has a natural break here for Labor Day...no more matches until Sept. 9-10, so this is a good time to catch up on past maps before we head down the playoff stretch for the last 6-7 matches of the regular season.
