I update actual standings every 1 or 2 days. Please check your points regularly in order to avoid possible mistakes.

An alternative to having Terminator games would be to award One or Two Tournament points to any player that eliminates another player before round 45.
This should give a good incentive to reduce the number of players on the battlefield.

Good idea, we can discuss that too.

All qualified players for Round 2 are asked their preferences regarding following options:
1) name of 10 maps they prefer to play
2) sequential or terminator
3) flat/escalating/no card/combination of two of them/combination of 3 of them
I want to see the preferences of the majority. This will serve to define the structure of Round 2 matches. However, I reserve the right to make the final decision, which may vary from the decision of the majority.
Please don't send pms to me, but post your preferences here.
We start with Arthur1.

We start with Arthur1.
1) I think that we can have any maps except Chinese Checkers. The maps played in round one was a good choise, so if to sign me up for ten it would be those
2) Definitive not terminator. I think that GloriousL had a good point that you can be rewarded with some tourney points if you are able to take a player out.
3) Definitive not escalating, I rather see no match in esc. No card games is good but,I am able to go for some flat rate games if the majority thinks it is going to slow.

While I don't know if I will advance to the next round, here are my preferences:
(1) Any maps are fine;
(2) Terminator would be preferable--people were playing far too conservatively in the last round because they had to decide between tournament points and normal points; and
(3) I would prefer escalating or flat rate. No cards would be fine occasionally too, as long as it isn't ALL no cards again.

Do group d get a special prize for all of us qualifying first??
My preferences would be...
1) Like everyone else i'll play any 10 maps, but for preference I'd like to see maybe a combination of a few of the better maps from the first round with some new ones. I guess my 10 would be: Alexander's Empire, Ancient Greece, CCU, Crossword, Discworld, Europe, Germany, North America, Tamriel, US Senate
2) Standard
3) Definitely not escalating. That would take away from the whole tactical nature of this tournament. I'd prefer to stick to no cards, but would accept a few flat rate games as well.

Something new now
Exclusive for the TOP 250 Singles League players, I opened 10 private matches all with newest three maps, San Francisco, Siege and 8 Thoughts. However, as a prerequisite you have to have
2000+ points at the time you join those matches. PM me, if you are interested to join them and I will send you the passwords.
Just write "top 250" as tournament name on Game Finder and click "waiting for players" option to find a list of the matches.
3x San Francisco, 6 players, no card, standard, sequential, 1 chained, 1 adjacent, 1 unlimited,
3x Siege, 6 players, no card, standard, sequential, 1 chained, 1 adjacent, 1 unlimited,
4x 8 Thoughts, 6 players, no card, standard, sequential, 2 chained, 1 adjacent, 1 unlimited.
Have fun

Only artur1 and AndrewO requested password up to now. Should I make the matches accessible also other players above 2000+? E.g. I can post it also in Top 500 Doubles League forum or somewhere else.
