Wow, wtf if the dayvig was pro-town.

The one good thing that comes out of this daykill is that now we got a list of people we know were bandwagoning a proven townie. I wouldn't find it unlikely if there is at least one scum among:

Safariguy: 5 (Mandalorian, Serbia, Nagerous, Fircoal, Iliad)

mandalorian2298 wrote:So, 16 players and 13 votes. To the non voters I say:

I hope Koesen has already PM-ed you your role, Player-who-is-replacing-Cowboys.

FOS F1fth C'mon Sophie, make a choice already!

Can I choose neither? :P

FOS Mandy being so pushy to rush a lynch and for starting the safari bandwagon. I would vote you except that it was the daykiller's fault he died... unless of course you are the daykiller, in which case, damn you. ;)

If that was a day SK, then in my view you are also a moron for going for someone who was being bandwagoned and appeared scummy than a regular high experienced player.

Thanks for adding nothing to the conversation. =D>

Ok, so that was really stupid. Only someone really stupid (like H2SY - and by the way, that's not really an insult, I'm just going off your day one posts, which I think everyone will agree were rather scatterbrained - but unlikely because of your real-life issues, and good luck again btw) (or maybe colton - who is again is really adding nothing, and in my opinion would not be above doing something dumb and then posting strongly against it after seeing that it failed) or somebody really, really clever, and smarter than his own good - MANDY. So I'm doing a major FOS: Mandy on this one. PCM has a good point about Fircoal being a moron though - I concur!

Edit before posting... (cause I'm cool like that)

No one is currently voting Mandy, so VOTE: Mandy

Wow, good point Backspacer! (that's your official name now, after the Pearl Jam album) (or BS for short - haha!) Would then seem unlikely to see Safari back again, so does that help confirm it was a silly townie?

I'll leave the decision to you for now, given the circumstances. I'm willing to be patient for a few days and see how things develop.

I do have one other person who expressed willingness to substitute, so if you just want to focus on your baby and forget about this game, there won't be any blacklisting or anything. I have a child too.

Koesen, I hope you keep the vote count correct. Whenever someone corrects a vote count I think they're scummy for being quick to appear helpful.

From page 8 (I took the tail end of it):

Iliad wrote:

That said, I seriously believe that if I were to change my vote now, you'd all say that I was trying to disguise the fact that I am scum and blah blah blah... Sticking by my rationale, I will FOS LSU Tiger Josh for not adding anything to the discussion besides a few votes. Trying to be low-key there I see...

Town generally doesn't consider the ramifications of its actions to the the general opinion of themselves. Other people do, obsessively.

My opinion is that safari saw a game of vets, saw colton and from admitted previous playing experience and knowledge of colton's tendency to snap under pressure saw an easy way to get a quick day 1 lynch with minimal discussion or gain for town. Maybe a lyncher, but this seems more likely to me.
Unvote vote safariguy5

1. Koesen said there are NO lynchers, skimmy skimmerton!
2. Iliad was the 5th voter on safari, thus a possible bandwagoner.
3. Well, I don't have a #3

I tend to agree with Serbia's take on Colton, but I don't think I'll vote him just yet. IGMEOY Colton

Vote Iliad

First off, the Day kill. IMO, the day killer is almost surely NOT a member of a Mafia or a Cult, because those organizations would be happy to see a guy who is not their member lynched, since that means that none of their number is going to be lynched today. Thus, I conclude that we have either a Day Vig or a Day SK (who, being a solo agent, is as eager to catch other scum as any townie). Either way, as long as you are not a 1-shot Vig, I say good work to your Mysterious Shooter. You have enabled us to lynch another person today, and the more people get killed during the Days, the less powerful Mafia's nightkilling ability becomes. If you are indeed a Vig and have based your choice on my accusation of Safari then I apologize for leading you astray as I am sure you would never do to me ;) . if you are a SK, THEN I HOPE I'LL LEAD YOU TO THE GALLOWS AS WELL, YOU SCUMMY, SCUMMY SCUMSTER!

Anyhow, back to the game.

As for the Safari being town, all I can say is that I believed him to be Scum based on his posts. No offense Safari, you seem like a good, active player, but my you turned my Scumdar on with your posts and I voted for you and pushed for your lynch. If there is a flaw in the logic behind my vote, I would appreciate if someone would point it out to me.

I don't really have much. I don't see anything suspicous

I think it is suspicious that the post after his accusation is your response. Perhaps you are frequently checking in because you need to quickly handle any accusation, as you are scum.

FOS Walrus
for the same reason I voted Safari. Being active is not scummy. Suspecting someone because he is active means that you are encouraging submarining. That is scummy.

What I thought was odd was his overall actions, him first being less aggressive than normal, then going back to quickly taking on accusations. It is most likely just colton being colton, but I figured it was worth noting.

Sounds like someone's reading too much into the scenes. Then again, that might make it interesting to see who comes back and who doesn't. Also: Yay, Gimpy! [/semi-pointless ramble]

Hmm,Vote Fircoal. He dropped in on the safari wagon for what was at the time decent reasoning, (because safari was hopping on the H2SY wagon), but yet remained on when safari made it pretty clear that he had no intention of lynching H2SY and was just trying to provoke some activity from her.

And Mandy, I disagree with you completely about the dayvig. If that person is pro-town, then they are stupid. You never, never, never kill somebody without a claim unless you have a very good reason not to (e.g. suspected player has daykill, you already know the player's role, etc.) Not only does it give us a huge chance to catch someone in a lie (or verify their claim), but people's reactions to the claim are extremely important in determining what their alignment is. Whether the cop you kill has claimed or not casts varying degrees of suspicion on motives of the bandwagoners.

And to Gimply, welcome! This truly is an all-star game now (though I note a severe lack of Aussies).

I agree with you. About welcoming Gimpy and lamenting the lack of Aussies. :)

On the other hand, I disagree with your analysis. What you would be true, if this was Day 4 for instance. But, on the Day 1, it would be silly for the daykiller to draw suspicion on himself by asking for a claim who is at -4, when he can simply gambit the probably condemned man (sorry again Safari 8-[ ) and provide the Town with enough time for a de facto extra lynch.
