nope, I will give you guys a hint- When I went to look up the answer to the question it was a guy that I have never heard of-so he probably isnt that famous but you never know.

well he played from 48-66 mainly with the Phillies and a little with the O's and a few seasons with the Astros and one with the Cubs.

no, but close. i didn't get it from all star pregame, but here's a hint that might seal the deal....the player in question shares the all-time record for most All-Star appearances with Willie Mays....

how could this thread possibly die, was dwightschrute the only one keeping it alive, now he's on vacation?

well I am back for a few days before I leave for a month. I saw that GK went away for a week so that may explain it, as for my guess- Hank Aaron?

correct. musial had 6 career home runs in all-star games. he had 72 plate appearances in 24 career appearances.
