AS stated before I do not know when the dino's existed in relation to man except that it was BEFORE man. (see my previous post) a day is LIKE 1000 years does not mean it WAS 1000 years.

Which is why I had the word "about" before each time I said 1000 years. I still don't get what you mean by "like" 1000 years. How much can this vary? A couple hundred years? I'm assuming Christians just play around with how long each day was until it makes the story plausable.
i would like too say but no offense to anybody
THERE IS NO GOD!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's infidels.org. Yes, that's a humanist website. Do I care? Not really. If an approximate period of somewhere around 1000 years (heretofore referred to as ~1000 years) then six of these periods would roughly be around 6000 years. That article is a step-by-step refutation of that belief.
However, you've stated that you don't follow Young Earth creationism. Forgive me but I cannot help but be continuously confused by the tap dancing.

The 6000 year period of which you refer is from Adam and Eve to now. The Earth is older than 6000 years old.

Right, and you said that dinosaurs were created one "day" before. At first I thought the day was about 1000 years, but you keep refuting that, so I've got no clue. How much time before adam and eve did the dinosaurs start? Thats all I want to know.

It could be 1000 years or 10,000 years. Gonna have to ask God on that one.

Hm, well, I'll make a note to do that when I go on my vision quest.
Do you have any actual answers, or do we need to talk to God to understand any of this?
Why is it so important to you two? As if you will discredit the Bible if an answer is given. lol wow.
Lets say it is 1000 years before man. Now what? What do you have to say to it? That its impossible? That God is incapable of such a feat? Not all things are known by man (as if you didn't know that). Get over yourselves and post rational thoughts or don't post at all.

Maybe I'm wrong about this, but my friends who are Christian claim that they have spoken with god, and have asked him about many things, all of which god has answered. Could you not speak with Him about this matter?

So logic dictates that you ask your friends this question. I can speak to him about it but its really not that important to me. What is odd is why it concerns you?

How does logic dictate that? I'm not debating them about anything. Plus I could always just make up an answer, so it would be best if you retrieved the information.
As for why, at first it was to help prove a point I was going to make, but now that you have figured out a bullet proof argument ("ask god") there's no reason for continuing. I simply want to know out of curiosity at this point.

Well, now that the debate has pretty much ended since our evidence has hit your "Ask God" defense, I hereby petition a mod to close this thread in pursuant to the rules of parlimentary proceedure and common sense.

this might not make sense and half of u guys r only going to blow holes in my idea but i think that 1 of the following happenend to create life:
1. a god created life
2. aliens created life
3. somehow life just got ceated through scientific reactions of different things the humans dont know about.

Well, first I'm going to need a number as to how many years were inbetween the 5th and 6th day. Obviously you are unwilling to supply me with this number, so the point cannot be made. If you would really like to know the point I would have made, why don't you just ask god? ahahahaha.
"Let us remember that there are multiple theories of Intelligent Design. I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. It was He who created all that we see and all that we feel. We feel strongly that the overwhelming scientific evidence pointing towards evolutionary processes is nothing but a coincidence, put in place by Him.
Some find that hard to believe, so it may be helpful to tell you a little more about our beliefs. We have evidence that a Flying Spaghetti Monster created the universe. None of us, of course, were around to see it, but we have written accounts of it. We have several lengthy volumes explaining all details of His power. Also, you may be surprised to hear that there are over 10 million of us, and growing. We tend to be very secretive, as many people claim our beliefs are not substantiated by observable evidence. What these people don’t understand is that He built the world to make us think the earth is older than it really is. For example, a scientist may perform a carbon-dating process on an artifact. He finds that approximately 75% of the Carbon-14 has decayed by electron emission to Nitrogen-14, and infers that this artifact is approximately 10,000 years old, as the half-life of Carbon-14 appears to be 5,730 years. But what our scientist does not realize is that every time he makes a measurement, the Flying Spaghetti Monster is there changing the results with His Noodly Appendage. We have numerous texts that describe in detail how this can be possible and the reasons why He does this. He is of course invisible and can pass through normal matter with ease."
I can not see him, yet I know in my heart he is real.
It just takes faith...and should be taught in our schools.
