Finally, a knockout in Game B, as Portmangray is out of the tourney. I would not be surprised to see a second elimination in that game soon, with Aesop Jones down to just 17 armies on 6 territories and holding only 2 cards. But stranger things have happened ...
Nobody's out of Games C and D; still only the one elimination in Game E.
Aesop Jones was indeed eliminated from Game B, so we have our two eliminated players from that game.
As for the other 3 games:
Sets are up to 50 armies in Game C, so I expect eliminations to happen soon in that one.
Nobody's taken a huge advantage in Game D, and sets are only at 15 armies, but with three players holding 5 cards apiece, the action should be getting a little more interesting shortly.
No sets have been turned in for Game E. I suspect our deadbeating player slowed down that one quite a bit, so they're likely a few days behind all the other games.
I'll keep everyone posted as things change; as always, feel free to post your own updates (as some of our game winners have done) in this thread or send me a PM when a game finishes.
Well, that was a good prediction. We not only had our two eliminations in Game C, dfp2dep won the game by eliminating all 6 opponents in Round 10, becoming the first 2-game winner in the tourney. Thanks to our two eliminated players, unknownhero and andy_is_awesome, for playing.
Just a quick update--nothing new to report, really. The remaining two games appear to be moving a little slowly; as soon as something new happens (or it's been another couple of days), I'll get you folks another update.
After a fierce battle, we have our second Game E elimination, in Round 9. le_tigre was knocked out of the tournament when Gilligan cashed a 30-army set and swept him out of the game. We now have our 5 players from that game who will move on; we're just waiting for the eliminations in Game D. With sets in that game up to 40 armies and four of the seven players holding 5 cards, I gotta believe something's going to happen soon. Of course, I've been proven wrong on such predictions before!
As soon as I know all of the Round 3 participants, I'll make the new games and let you folks get started on those.
Ah, the joys of escalating games--LLLUUUKKKEEE swept through all of his Game D opponents in Round 11, earning his first win of the tournament and knocking out poptartpsycho18 and Kalano Sanchin in the process. Thanks to those two for playing; we now have our 30 players for Round 3, so I'll set up the six player games and send 'em out shortly!
All right, the games are out. You can see the numbers of all Round 3 games (or all games, for that matter) in the second post of this thread. Best of luck to everyone--once again, we'll be eliminating 2 players per game, so it's going to be just a little harder to stay alive in the tournament this time.
Quick note: 3 of the 5 Round 3 games have filled, but because I was extremely busy over the weekend, I just got a chance to send 24-hour warnings to the two missing players. My apologies to those of you who are waiting for your game to start. If they haven't filled by tomorrow morning, we'll bring in other players.
methdeez failed to join Game D in an appropriate amount of time and has been replaced by goggles paisano, who was the second player eliminated from their Round 2 game. All Round 3 games are now full and have started--I'll keep you all posted as people are eliminated.
Game E is over, as riskthis said; m33 was the winner, with lanceeee and iambligh knocked out.
Game A is also over. KidWhisky snagged the win, knocking out badnuzjr and Maroon Beret as the first two players in a Round 11 run that netted him the win.
We have our two eliminations in Game D as well. Iffy Boatrace went out first, while goggles paisano earned the dubious distinction of being the first player knocked out of the tourney twice (he was eliminated last round, but a player from his Round 2 game didn't join his Round 3 game). It looks very likely that ZionT will earn the win in that one.
Eliminations don't appear to be close in the remaining two games ... but with escalating cards, anything can happen.

Congrats!
Congrats also to ralphcptc, who won Game B, knocking out LLLUUUKKKEEE as the second player eliminated in that game. That completes Round 3, so I'll figure out the groupings for Round 4--the 5-player games--and get those out ASAP. You can all expect a PM with your next game # soon ...
Two of the three missing players joined their games, but blindmatt failed to do so, so LLLUUUKKKEEE has returned to the tourney and replaces blindmatt in Game D.
We have our Game C eliminations--riskthis, in round 6, and barterer2002, in round 8. dfp2dep, KidWhisky, and ZionT will move on to Round 5 as long as they all finish the game.
