My point exactly.

I mean, I'm not mad or anything, but I just don't understand why such a simple fix hasn't been done already?

Is the Popes wife obliged to kiss his ring too or is that only for formal encounters?

Incidentally the Short Story entry is still open if you do wish to put in a passage Ink. heh it does not quite exist at the moment but you can find it here: Story Thread

On the contrary, that's only for informal encounters, if you catch my drift.

Forum Games still exists, it's just in the Foundry now...

I'll submit if I come up with something good, but frankly the storyline doesn't inspire me...

The most probable reason why the Pope where's a dress is for a quickie with one of the altar boys in the priest chambers just before mass...that's my take on the whole subject.

It's true, I'm looking to fill a number of holes in the plot and to build up the story to an exciting climax.

Part of the game however is to bend the storyline with your own entry. You can make it as inspiring as you see fit and I'm sure the voting will reflect that decision.

:D those priests with their alter/choir boys, dirty perverts.

anyway, Football(Real) thread.

Scotland 0 Norway 0 bad result, needed a win. Chris Iwelumo missed a sitter from 2 yards out. #-o

England 5 Kazakhstan 1 closer than the score suggests, 2-1 after 68 mins.

Pre-Game Rituals

Post by Frigidus »

Do any of you guys do anything in particular before starting a new game? I start off by putting on camouflage pants, a wife beater, and an American flag headband. Then, I turn on this smoke machine we use every Halloween and blast Tiny Tim's 'Tip-Toe Thru' the Tulips with Me' throughout the house. I walk slowly (and proudly) through the smoke and strut up to the computer, where I inform my opponents that I'm a professional, and that they shouldn't underestimate me. I then take my first turn. It always impresses my mom, she says that I'm just like my father.

Also, when I win, I furiously masturbate. This doesn't impress my mom as much.

Oddly enough, I masturbate as well. But that's before every dice roll, so I guess it doesn't count.

I have a pretty simple ritual...
First, I have a couple of rum and cokes...
Then, I bang my head on my desktop, in preperation for when I begin to attack and the defender's one die outrolls my 3 dice about 75% of the time.
Then, I repeat the chant that I learned reading the moderators defences of the dice...
"The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random! The dice are random!"

Ultimately, I lose against the "random dice," bang my head against the wall and have another rum and coke!

After match warm-down

Post by Dancing Mustard »

So you've just finished a marathon speed-game, your adrenalin is pumping, and you won't be able to sleep for hours. It's a familiar feeling and most speed-gamers have dealt with it at least once before (especially after hardcore world 2.1 epics).

But how to beat that rush? Sure it feels great for a couple of minutes, but sooner or later you need to go back to being a civilised human being again? So my question is: What do people do to help them chill out and calm down after particularly intense CC games?

Music, activities, mental techniques, anything... share your thoughts and we can beat adrenalin pump together.

I go Backwards personally.

Reverse Psychology In fact, Normally when I play CC, regardless of what Style of game I am Playing. I Play it to get down from the Rush I have just experienced from working in the music industry, end of story.

I use CC as a sedative, this therefore Mustard, is my Rush.

Just follow my Twelve Step Program:

Step 1: Open packet of heroin.
Step 2: Pour contents into spoon and add a bit of water.
Step 3: Light candle and cook contents of spoon over it.
Step 4: Suction up spoon concoction into syringe
Step 5: Find a vein
Step 6: Mainline that shit.
Step 7: Relax in the velvety clouds of dopamine.
Step 8: Accidentally knock over candle while high
Step 9: Start to notice there might be something wrong when dog is wailing in pain from being burned alive.
Step 10: Succumb to smoke inhalation.
Step 11: Relax in the velvet underground.
Step 12: ______________________

3. bit of foo fighters
4. eat sammich
5. have a glass of whatever I fancy (milk causes me to have good dice)
6. take turn while drinking
7. spit contents of mouth at screen when I see my dice are random
