Thanks for this tourney, amazzony. It was real fun and it would be a pity if you really don't do any more of them. Great stuff to all players in my group too - it was thrilling to compete against you all.

PS: I don't think you've updated our final scoreboard, though.

Thanks! Well played, everyone else, too, though -- it was a very close finish with wreckless and musteriuz. Overall, my advice to some of you would be to take more risks (pun intended). I got eliminated a couple of times after failing in a kill attempt, but I more than made up for it in other cases. I saw several instances of players waiting it out when they seemed to have a reasonably good chance for a kill -- especially if it's a kill that lets you cash in a group and continue.

I too would like to congratulate everyone in bracket 1 on a well played round. I have no idea how I finagled my way out of bracket 1... Good job joriki and all who made it further! To those who didn't, I shall laugh at you, j/k, come back and play next tourney.

BTW, I want to thank amazzony for putting together this amazing series. I love termination, it's the most exciting kill or be killed game style. As I understand someone will be doing these tourneys in the future, but you'll always be the best in my book!

First of all, divisional games have ended and we have our last 2 finalists. In finals, from Division 3, we will have Gamefreakguy and dominator2000. I've already made final games, sent them out and updated scoreboard. I've moved Divisional games to second post and finals are where divisional scoreboard was before.

Scoreboard is having some troubles for some reason, is it CC, Photobucket or something else, I don't know. But if you can't see the most up to date version then refresh your browser several times, in the end the correct version will pop up



musteriuz and ZionT, thank you for the kind words! I've talked before to a mystery person who might continue these series but haven't had contact with him for awhile now (we agreed to talk more about it when Crossword ends). So, keep your eyes open and everybody in my notification list will surely get a message when there should be another termination tournament (either by me or somebody else).

OK, I've finished the last game. I took the last two kills, which brings me within one point of the other two, but one point too few nonetheless . In German we say "knapp daneben ist auch vorbei", meaning "close, but no cigar" (more literally: "a close miss is still a miss"). Thanks for letting me know that last game has ended. This is not the best solution that I hoped for my last Termination tournament but nevertheless, ZionT and Gamefreakguy will play a series of 5 1v1 games and whoever wins 3+ games, wins the tournament. I will try to make the games later today, after supper.

Final tiebreakers have began. I remembered a few days later that for them to begin I have to make them Finally they were made and both finalists got into their really fast.
