As far as I know Broom is town, his role was written in green aswell.
So one of us must be lying.

No, but I wasn't really forced into a claim, it probably wasn't the best idea for me to expose both of us, but I did it anyway. On the PM I recieved from Firth, both of our roles were written in green, which is also the colour of the confirmed town players roles. This is mafia, I have no way to offer you definitive proof, other than direct conformation from Firth himself. You're just going to have to take my word for it.

true, very true, I think I'd rather hear some input from everyone before I do any more.

Well, since Iago is probably the Godfather, here ends my usefullness as a Cop. Also, historicly peaking, this is the part of the game when I get carried away and give the victory over to the scum, so I would prefer to hear what you guys have to say about your suspicions before doing anything.
I don't remember much about the story but I'm pretty sure Iago was the big bad guy, and a quick glance at wiki confirms it, so I think Mandy is right on him being the GF.

Alrighty then, my turn I guess.
I'm the Duke of Venice, doc. Night 1 I protected Exile (, bad guess I know), last night I protected mando.
Unvote, vote: dagreatbroomhead
I've got a bit more to say but I'm getting the mean look from my girlfriend so I'll catch up later but he seems our best bet at the moment.

Oh and by the way, I dunno why I reffered to the scum killed as the godfather in my last post, I just meant to say scum, I was probably drunk or something...

Dagreatbroomhead and I are mason partners. We can talk to each other at any time we want. We are town. He does not have a night action, and I have a very basic one. Each night I get to search somebody for a hankercheif, I believe it is the one being mentioned in the scenes. I don't yet know the relevance of this, I mean, for all I know it may be irrelevant.
No, you realy, realy aren't.

You two are Husband and Wife (Iago and Emilia) and your hubby just made a colossal tactical error of admiting that he's the villain of this tail.

C'mon people, let's lynch broom and claim the win.

Ga7(1): broom
Broom(4); ga7, mandy, Fircoal, kalish
That's a lynch.
The town soon realised that the ancient Iago had deceived them all. He was defended to the bitter end by his wife Emilia but she eventually saw Iago as a compelling sophisticated villain, who revels in his own ability to dissemble. Iago made some last attempts to accuse the man who stole his position as lieutenant, Micheal Cassio, but the town were not to be swayed. Iago (dagreatbroomhead((SK/Mafia Godfather/mason)) has been killed.
Town wins. Roles on first page.

lol, nice.
First, good job mando. Usually I don't agree with your tactics (just a difference in play style) but in this one you were definitly spot-on all game. Well played sir, if I could shake your hand and offer you a cigar I would do so.
I can't believe it was that quick... I figured dagreat was scum but there would be at least one more on top of that (I always expect to many scum), was surprised as hell when it said 'over' in the title. Good game firth, definitly enjoyed this one as all the games ongoing at the moment are massive it it was a nice change of pace.
I never even got to elaborate on my suspicion, lol...

Shortest mafia game ever?
Easiest game for the town ever?
Hardest game for scum ever?
3 night actions screwed the scum;
mandy investigating f1fth
lovo killing exile
ga7 blocking broom
The whole handkercheif thing was that in the play Emilia steals the handkercheif because Iago has always wanted it. Iago then uses i to frame Cassio. Too bad you killed Desdemona night 1 and rined that. I even went on to give it to f1fth but then youlynched him

. Also, diddle did an excellent job of Emilia in the end, defending her husband(whose name on the pm was green).
And I thought I would include Iago/broom's role:
You are Iago(
SK/
Mafia Godfather/
mason) You are a cunning fellow who only does things for himself. Your 2 followers Brabantio(INSERT NAME HERE(
Mafia cop)) and Roderigo(INSERT NAME HERE(
Mafia watcher)) believe that you are working together to kill Othello but you want to kill everyone who opposes you, including Brabantio and Roderigo. It is your choice of when to kill them. You can talk with them at night. You have also instructed your wife Emilia(INSERT NAME HERE(
mason/handkerchief finder)) to find Desdemona’s handkerchief and give it to you so that you can frame Cassio. She believes you to be completely innocent and you can communicate with her night and day but you do not love her and plan to kill her in the end. You win when you are the only one left alive.
Please confirm in the game thread.
(I suggest re-reading this role a few times as it is complicated)
All other roles were basic.

gg Firth, and it seemed pretty balanced, just there was some luck we got. And anyway, I must say, but having me, Mandy, and Frenchie-chan all known as town in the end was a very helpful hint.

Heheh GG folks, nice setup Firth. I agree that it was a good timing for a smaller game for a change =) I like the handkerchief thing, but yeah too fast a game to really stop and ponder

Thanks for then nice words Kalish

(and maybe it's just as well that you can't offer me a cigar, since I just quited smoking

). Actualy I got quite lucky with the F1fth investigation because I have been torn between him, you and Exile (whom I suspected, but of being Iago not Barbantio

, since he couldn't lynch people by himself, he could only throw suspicion on them).
Anyway, nice kill LoVo, great game by Firth

(we need more of this small games with good stories). Also: great first vote Fircoal, you insane mouse-person

.
On the boooo side of things: Broom and Diddle.
Broom: how can you claim Iago?!
](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)
Diddle: why didn't you share the fact that you know who the main villain is with the rest of the class? You were Masons, not Husband and Wife, so you had no reason in the world to cover for him.
Seriously people, when you play a theme game, check wikipedia for at least basic info, it can realy help your game.

Meh, I would have at least had Mandy lynched before me had I not been incapacitated. Would have claimed Brabantio (mayor) and accused him of being a mafia cop or something. It would have gotten me killed the next day, but this was a small game. There weren't many people I had to kill.
Anyway, good job town, even if you did get luckier than all hell.

Lesson learnt I suppose. Although his role was green, and I don't know the play at all, so in my head there was nothing to arouse suspicion.

Well, if I consider how many HOURS I had spent surfing the web in search of the poet who's name sounds like "Nina Stickler" (Poet's Mafia), I must admit that I admire your mental health.

I'll say it out loud: I'm Mafia-crazy and proud.
The real funny thing is that Nina Stickler character hasn't been based on a real poet.
But, I must admit that I had tons of insane fun coming up with theories about Aimless' setup. At one point I got convinced that all the power roles are based on actors from Star Trek (which makes no sense, but it did make sense to me at the time). God that was a great game

(although LSU is probably still pissed at me for costing the Town our victory

)
Speaking of which: AIMLESS WHERE ARE YOU?!
