I know 3000 is not necessarily "THOTA" elite, but the cutoff may end up being much higher so bring your best teams to the table. Looking at the people being invited, 2800 may be the actual cutoff, but we'll see.

1. 3000 points was "recommended". At the time of sign up, 4 teams were just below that amount. Since the original sign ups started over a week ago, players scores may have changed since.

2. I feel psychic since the first person to challenge points was from the above mentioned clan.

There were only 4/64 teams that were less than 3000 total.

It appears that I missed yours. OSU got one but has not read it yet. I just noticed the issue, and it likely has to do with me trying to send too many pm's at once. I will have to keep an eye on this and submit a ticket if this continues.

Just over half the games have started.

Going with total points, although your 3500 might put you in the lower end of the bracket OP. :)

why is 3 teams of thota in one bracket? and no thota in 1st bracket? ugh, just curious, we only have 6 teams, but this is a great idea and I joined the game # you sent me jp, ty, just pm them to me and I will forward it to osu, thx again

I tried my best to align it up so that you wouldn't face early on. This was a challenge with 2 clans. LOD had the full ten teams so they had to be 2-3-2-3 in the ABCD brackets. THOTA was the other as there were several teams in the same point area, mainly as 4th and 5th seeds. I tried to mainly use the Independents as the key to moving from say A-4th to C-4th or 5th. You still have every opportunity of having the a full THOTA Final Four.

A reminder was sent out a few hours ago to both of your opponents. At the end of tomorrow night, I will also pm the clan leader of those who have not joined. Your opps are independents so I'm not sure what I'll do there.

It's quite clear to me so far that LOD, LOW, and THOTA have had the best response times. Keep up the great work.

Reviewed all outstanding spots. I have one player being replaced by the clan leader and another person's partner is a freemium with no spots. He has been asked to find another partner to replace him. Barring that I will look for a reserve team, and I have a couple in mind.

Just confirmed my 1st reserve team. I hope to have all games filled by end of tomorrow night. Second round of games, I'm aiming to setup for next Friday as I'm out of the country for 4 days next week and I'm not sure what access/time I'll have.

In our game, the second member of the team hasn't entered yet.

We have pm'ed him and his partner on several occassions but with no luck.

Just so people know, I am tracking every single game and player. A new clan has a few members lagging and I just pm'd their leader. A backup plan is in place if needed.

Aside from that, the #1 ranked team just destroyed their opponents. No Cinderella team yet.

Ok, time to embarrass a few clans as there are 8 games not filled yet:

Here are the clans with member not joining issues:

Truculent Alliance (member indicated that he is having computer fixed, and did it early so I'll give some time here)
Esoog
Imperial Dragoons (Clan contact has been great with communication, being replaced by clan leader as we speak)
THOTA (corrected)
The Kings of War (2 players) - back up plan in play here, contacted clan leader, I have him on messenger so I'll try to catch him live as well
Independent (partner is being replaced unless he can open a slot today - freemium issue)

Granted my team lost...... but I think another effort should be made at an actual league of some sort. playing one game on a random map with random settings isn't really a good way to judge teams.

Good luck to the rest of the teams in this tourney. Hopefully other dragoons teams will have a better showing than ours did.
