Not sure what you are asking. The person who starts dutch could take over the Portugese colony. Not sure why they'd only do that and leave Portugal itself alone.tenio wrote:looks good,
can another player control 2 or more empires?
Like the person who starts with dutch also controls the portuguese empire (but not necessarily the home world)
In 4 or less players someone could start with Portugal and Holland, making them own both in their entirety right away.

This is a map designed for 8 players about the European Colonization of the Americas. This is not true to our reality of events but close, players are welcome to write their own history playing the map. Please be willing to pardon our huge middle finger to our actual history.
It is designed by gimil and I together. I came up with the concept and borrowed his Fuedal Wars gameplay somewhat. Then we worked on gameplay together and with the image (I only did early drafts) to bring you this:
Territories: 69 (Only 9 Not Starting Neutral)
More Detail: 5 European Kingdoms (British, Spanish, Dutch, French, Portuguese) with 5 Territories, 4 Native Kingdoms (Inuit, Aztecs, Iroquois, Mapuches) with 10 territories, 4 ports (NW, NE, SW, SE).
This map features 5 European Nations and 4 Native Nations. It will be like Feudal Wars where you start with one territory that auto-deploys 5 and work out. The natives have more land and faster access to it, but Europeans have an extra auto deploy in their landing zones.
The ports were added as extra mobility to avoid the Spanish and the Aztecs from getting crushed in a bottle neck.
The number of starting areas will be as so:
8 players : 1 zone each (1 Neutral)
7 players : 1 zone each (2 Neutral)
6 players : 1 zone each (3 Neutral)
5 players : 1 zone each (4 Neutral)
4 players : 2 zones each (1 Neutral)
3 players : 3 zones each (0 Neutral)
2 players : 3 zones each (3 Neutral)
We are already aware of the spelling mistakes "there" instead of "their" and they will be corrected next version.
looks good to me coleman, well done

grammar police here. this map is killing me!
Homeland can be one word, and certainly doesn't need the apostrophe.
Sometimes you use nouns, sometimes you use adjectives. "Aztecs" are people, "comanche" describe a people.
European should be capitalized.
I before E, except after C.
Sentences require end punctuation.
"Territoriy" is spelled wrong.
