Okay, apparently this was being too nice.
We kindly request that you stop posting stupid store names and let this topic float away until the site has been configured in such a way as to allow maps of this size to exist.
Since that is not today, shut up. If you really want to keep doing this go to the map ideas topic.

Just because it won't be quenched any time soon doesn't mean the map can't be developed....

I think it's more of the idea that since the map and it's features aren't supported by the site currently, efforts should be focused on ideas that currently work.

Understood. But if people want to discuss a map (even one that can't be added currently) they have every right to, correct?. Perhaps this thread should be moved to the foundry and merged with the other topic, but the discussion can still take place.
I've posted my thoughts on extremely tall maps before: If the attack/fortify buttons and dice were moved to the right hand side of the screen, and made "dynamic" so they follow the map downward as you scroll down, a map like this would be completely playable. You would always be able to read the map and make any moves at the same time without scrolling in between, which is currently the problem with scrolling.
I think people are entertained by the idea of a large map and the thought of getting their name on it (preferably using some creativity). If the map can't be added at the moment or even for a long time, this still shows that there are many players who want to play very large maps. If a separate category is made for tall maps and the buttons are moved to make them playable, I think something like this could eventually be added.

There are many other maps that are not currently supported by the site, Supermax, Battle for Iraq, etc... and are in the foundry.
