Well I guess I get to join the old - timers group, just turned 47 in May.
Actually had a bunch of friends that enjoyed getting together with a case or two of beer and playing all nighter Risk games.
The games always seemed to take a long time to finish, wonder why?

I'm between the ages of 19.87645738465727 and 21.001893267492638476.
If you haven't guessed, i'm 20. However, i'm far more in touch with reality (and by in touch i mean completely out of synch) than my fellow 20-year-old compatriots.
How old are you....

I would be 22 and think that after 21 it doesn't matter too much until you retire.

And that joke is a little funny, I admit, but your internet translator is terrible!! Hmm, I assume you dont know Portuguese...

15 going on 16 in September, and I might as well tell of how I got into Risk because I'm a talker and my mouth must move at all times. In this case, my fingers must tpe at all times.
I thought the board was cool, and there were these tiny toy cannons inside the box tht my sister and I played with when we were little. So I begged and literally cried for my mom to teach me when I was about 7, but she yelled at me and said I was too young.
Then Came my 8th birthday and I asked again, only more politely, and she said yes. She tried explaining it to me but I could not understand a single word she said. It might as well been in Chinese. Later in the year she said, "Let's play Risk!" and I had no idea how to play, but she taught me as we (our family) went along. I learned in no time and wanted to play it constantly, and ended up winning about half the time. To this day she always advises me on what to do and which country to attack when I know exactly what I'm doing.
I've got original 1963 and 1975 Risk board games, along with a Lord of the Rings Risk version. Anyone here who remembers the little cubes that uused to be the original pieces for Risk? Yep, I've got those in the '63 version. I've got the weird triangle-cone pieces fr the '75 edition. I've been playing Risk for about 7 years, but for some reason I keep losing on Conquer Club. I'm SUPPOSED TO BE WINNING!

How strange...

When I first saw this thread, I admit I was a bit intrigued. I thought that if people knew how old I was, the common thought would be "isn't he a bit old for games" or what not. *Wiping Sweat From Brow*--Thanks to Wacicha and many, many others (assuming all are as truthful as me) for relieving me of my unfounded fears! I'm a mere 32 years young and have been playing Risk on and off since as far back as I can remember--albeit, only on CC for a few weeks!
