Not to get ahead of myself here, but how will seeding into the next round work? Random, first come first serve, by first round points, by ranking?

Although it is hard to show this in these forums since I can't create columns or anything like that, this tournament is a bracket. For example, the winners of Group I and II will move into Group I of the second round. Make sense?

ok i see. That's definitely a fine way to do it, but maybe it would make sense to put the winner of I in I and 2nd place in the last group or something, making sure each group has two winners and two runners-up. That way we'd all get to fight three new people in round 2. No worries if you don't want to take the suggestion
